this game gave me depression and lifelong commitment. 10/10, would 100% recommend
After almost 50 hours in this game, I could confidently say that this game is not like Skyrim at all
🤟🏻
Dragon Age: Origins.
Zevran is my all time fav in Dragon Age series. Thank you old Bioware
Great!
TLDR pro's: solid story and gameplay and lots of choices to make that actually influence how the story progresses. musthave for oldskool dark fantasy rpg lovers. who like fire tornadoes? cons: combat's a little stiff but not to bad. the game needs mods to run stabily on modern hardware because of a memory leakage issue (install DAO 4gb mod to fix memory leak issue). FULL REVIEW after all these years, here we are again playing dragon age: origins. i played this game to death back in the day on my ps3. dragon age as a whole used to be my favourite franchise, until the absolutly horrifying creation called Veilguard released and absolutely destroyed my most favourite fantasy world ever concieved... i had an itch to play it again because i was playing ARPG's for the last few years and i wanted something different. a game that made me sit down and look at a situation and analyzing it before before committing. player this game definitly shows its age but overal it holds up pretty wel because of the artstyle. it gives the game a charm you won't find almost anywhere else. once i started i was immediatly sucked into the world again. the combat is a little meh, but i gotta say i do like blasting groups of enemies with fire tornadoes/balls, blizzards and electrical storms and just see carnage unfold. the story and how your choices influence it is some of the best the industry has to offer, but in my opinion the best i ever played. the lore surrounding the world and its deep and intricate history for those who really explored and found is very rewarding and just something that tickles my brain in all the right ways. story with a deep history and the narrative slowly building around that mistery. overall starting this gem again was the best decision i made in awhile and i recommend anyone who likes oldskool slower paced rpgs to try it out. if you didn't already. as for a few cons, the game struggles to run of some modern hardware setups leading to crashes during gameplay or startup. there are various mods that fix some of these issues, and many are user friendly with an exstensive explaination on how use them. that or its just unpack files -> copy to this folder. also as i didn't have any crashes during startup but i did have many during gameplay and did some investigating and found the biggest issue to be a memory leak that occurs when playing for longer periods of time. this is easily fixable by enabling the 4GB mod, allowing the game to use 4gb of ram instead of the standard 2(this mod is a must have when using mods that enhance gameplay and especially modded skills and skilltrees). this fixed the issue for me entirely but i see others who have improved performance. but when the memory leak again catches up, the game will crash. at least this time you will see it coming as you will see your frames drop significantly. overall a solid experience and how i wish EA didn't destoy this franchise by gutting bioware and make their key staff, leave...
This has been my favorite game since 2009. it will crash on you multiple times especially if you have a newer and beefier PC, but it's worth it.
Игра классика очень нравится хоть много вылетов
