Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition

This has been my favorite game since 2009. it will crash on you multiple times especially if you have a newer and beefier PC, but it's worth it.

After almost 50 hours in this game, I could confidently say that this game is not like Skyrim at all

This, I daresay, belongs most assuredly to the latter. I have wandered through a great many worlds in my time, yet few have afforded me such genuine delight. From the remarkable depth of its role-playing to the elegance of its gameplay, every element appears fashioned with uncommon care. Its characters are not simply companions upon the journey, but individuals of such charm and substance that one cannot help but remember them fondly long after the final curtain has fallen. The score deserves particular commendation. It does not merely accompany one's adventure; rather, it elevates every triumph, every sorrow, and every quiet exchange with a grace that borders upon the sublime. Yet it is the consequence of one's choices that truly sets this work apart. Every decision bears genuine weight. The multitude of origins, together with the profound influence of one's chosen race and class, can reshape entire storylines, alter pivotal moments, and reveal scenes that might otherwise remain forever unseen. It is a rare achievement indeed to grant the player such convincing authorship over their own tale. I can think of no higher praise than to say that this is not merely an exceptional game, but a work of enduring artistry, one that shall undoubtedly stand amongst the finest achievements of its kind. A bloody masterpiece.

Dieses Spiel ist wirklich gar nicht so schlecht gealtert wie ich erst dachte. Grafik ist noch völlig in Ordnung für ein 16 Jahre altes Spiel. Man merkt aber am Alter, dass einige Quality of Life features bzw. Informationen fehlen. So hätte ich mir gerne eine detailliertere Information über den Gegner, einfachere Inventarverwaltung und einen Kampflog gewünscht. D&D fans werden also über die recht rudimentäre Darstellung in Kämpfen und Dialogen leicht enttäuscht sein. Das Problem mit den ständigen Abstürzen und der nicht skalierbaren Schrift kann man mithilfe von Mods gut lösen. Dazu gibt es hier in Steam auch einen Guide, der einem weiterhilft.
