It's been a while since I had a good block puzzler, and this fit the bill. Well-polished, with a few nice touches in both audio and visuals. Now its over, I wonder if there'll be more levels in the future? Did see a maybe-bug with the conveyors near the end that could slot in nicely as a future mechanic.
I first learned about this game when buying Fearofdark's discography on Bandcamp and noticed he did the soundtrack for this game. And it's SO good. I checked the Steam page and decided to get it, and I'm glad I did... even if I really, really suck at it. This game is HARD. If you think you're good at puzzle games, definitely give this one a try. Dr. Kobushi's Labyrinthine Laboratory does a lot with a little in terms of its core game mechanics, and it absolutely works in its favor.
Incredibly good game Nadim, very fine puzzles, it was so worth it, I had a GREAT time ! Oh and I also completed the game teehee, thank you guys for making it >wO
In the vein of Adventures of LOLO and all around a fun game with a charming personality. I dig it.
Came for the music (thanks Fearofdark) and stayed for the puzzles, the game is challenging but not impossible, hard but not unfair, characters are mysterious but charming, the plot is null but unimportant. Didn't had the time (or courage) to finish it yet but I think it's pretty solid, maybe some improvements in my mind : - A way to keep track in wich level I've forgot to take a bonus (I'll need to reach 100% one day, i hope, without having to do check the 100 stages again just for one forgotten bonus). - A reminder of the behaviour of opponents in the stage (like when you first encounter them, maybe when you hit pause or with an encyclopedia in main menu) because i'm still not sure how the red and brown ennemies behave. The game is charming and I really hope it will meet his public, it's also interresting to see what Go programming language can do ! Vive les jeux français, je retourne y jouer !
Nice game
Really fun... and hard!
When the game is more trail and error than linch-pin puzzler, that delay when you move and having to wait for all the robots to move around makes, plus having deaths reset everything, adds a consistent slowness that builds into a malaise of frustration. If you can get past that it seems to have alot of puzzles to throw at you and quirky character dialogue if you like that sort of thing.
