Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 25 → 1.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Prepare to throw down the Double Dragon way in this fresh addition to the iconic beat ‘em up franchise. It’s the year 199X, and nuclear war has devastated New York City leaving its citizens to fight for survival as riots and crime engulf the streets. The city has been overtaken by criminal gangs who terrorize its ruins as they fight for total dominance. Unwilling to endure these conditions any longer, young Billy and Jimmy Lee take it upon themselves to drive the gangs out of their city.
Explore the early beginnings of the young Double Dragon brothers as they take on both new and familiar enemies in this alternate story. In this fresh roguelite take, every playthrough is a brand new chance at new action. Featuring a unique and dynamic level structure, the difficulty of the missions you take on will change depending on the order you have selected them.
Tag in and out as the classic duo Billy and Jimmy, switch it up with Marian and Uncle Matin, or experiment with 20 additional unlockable characters, each with their own special moves and unique playstyles. With 2-player online and local co-op, the action quadruples as you and a friend clean up the mean streets.
TAG TEAM ACTION – Choose two fighters and seamlessly switch between them, giving you a multitude of strategies for devastating combos, defensive and offensive moves.
BEAT ‘EM UP WITH ROGUELITE ELEMENTS– Experience endless playthrough possibilities with a dynamic mission select function; the order in which you choose your mission will affect mission length, number of enemies, and overall difficulty. Choose where you improve with randomized purchasable upgrades for your characters at the end of each mission, or save your cash to revive your players in-mission.
24 UNIQUE PLAYABLE CHARACTERS – Start the fight with Billy, Jimmy, Marian, and Uncle Matin. Earn tokens along the way to unlock a diverse roster of 20 more characters, each with their own playstyle and strengths. Strategically choose your fighting duo by taking into account each characters’ strengths and weaknesses.
ONLINE & LOCAL CO-OP – Grab a friend and clean up the city streets together with online and local co-op that supports up to two players.
SHAPE YOUR EXPERIENCE AND REWARDS – Adjust game difficulty to affect the amount of tokens earned per session and use those tokens to unlock content from the Token Shop including characters, tips, and more. Modifier can be used to enter permadeath or even infinite mode.
SURVIVAL MODE – Test your might against a barrage of enemies in this wave mode that increases in difficulty the further you progress. Use tokens to unlock this mode, as well as special backgrounds during runs.
VERSUS MODE – Select two characters and upgrades to battle against your friends to prove who is the ultimate Dragon Warrior. This mode and special backgrounds are unlocked via the token shop.
Sums Steam only; PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

nostalgia still wins me every time
un autentico juegazo poco puedo añadir es divertidisimo y adictivo ademas el online va muy bien.
It's pretty good and I don't even like this genre
I was gonna make this wall of text explaining why this game is okay, but is confusing where I personally stand if it's a good buy, but I respect your time. TL;DR, this is NOT worth the full $30+. Reason being that the more you replay this game, the more you'll have a sinking feeling that is it missing something which could lead to buyer's remorse for some. Whether it be the cut content, the extra roster of playable characters that really makes you think that they should be in the main game somehow, or simply lacking the charm of a legit Double Dragon game is really up to you and your experience with the franchise as a whole. I would say that it might be fun for newcomers, but clearly this is for those who see this series with nostalgia glasses; the music alone are remixes of music from previous entries.... ALL OF THE MUSIC. Get this game when it's on sale. I wanna say half the price cause it really feels like it's just half the game they are giving you. The token store section is hard proof of that IMO. Outside of that, below are some info and suggestions if you do decide to get the game. Don't get me wrong, this game can be real fun, especially when you have another person playing with you... cause the online co-op is BARREN. My review is over, so this is more for those who are sold on getting this game. I appreciate your time, now go play Super Double Dragon. ===================== TIPS ===================== - Smash Bros. specials commands oddly works on this game. You don't have to remember the specific button mapping. Just use Neutral/Up/Down/Side + Special. - Tag your crew out if they get banged up. They will heal a bit while they're benched. - Spam the Tag button if you're about to fall off the map to prevent nasty fall damage. This will not exhaust the Tag/Special meter doing so meaning you can flip from one to the other as many times as you can get back up just as long as you don't do a special. - You can turn off the Crowd Control pause fanfare in the options. I'm sick of folks complaining about that and not check the Settings. - It's really easy to 100% this game, and you don't have to get all the items from the token store oddly enough. - Some specials have a duration depending on how long you hold the Specials button. Sonny Lee can be a real menace once you've realized that. - For replays, it's less of a pain if you choose either Lady Okada or Anubis for the first 2 maps due to how annoying their gimmicks are (darkness/random BS hazards). - Money is very important in this game. If you think you can handle the pressure, let someone who has full health grab the food from crowd controlling or from smashed items. It'll convert to money which you can use for continues, upgrades, and finally token conversions at the end of your game. - To lessen the cash conversion, you can set the game to "No Continues" or "No Continues +" and be able to handle yourself without it. What it does it disables you from getting the option to replay the level if you're low on funds to respawn. In my *reads stats* 15+ hours, I've only seen the option to continue once and that's only cause I was not feeling the character selection I made and wanted to delete my run. You got this.
Short but really fun game, definitely recommend!
