Autant la campagne je l'ai trouvée moins bonne en tout point par rapport à Doom Eternal, je sais que c'est un jeu différent mais pour moi c'était trop lent, trop de cinématiques, trop oubliable... à la limite je dis oui pour le nouveau look du Slayer extrêmement sexy mais sinon bof. Par contre le DLC c'est un régal, c'est agressif, rapide, et OUGA BOUGA j'adore taper sur les méchants.

My heart goes out to all the people at ID tech. I hope all the talented developers who were laid off find a new and much better home so that they can keep doing what they do best, pushing technical and creative boundries and looking good while doing it !

Amazing DLC that manages to improve upon the gameplay of Dark Ages in all the right places. The new Spear gives the Slayer much needed mobility and offensive capabilities. This brings the feeling of the game closer to Eternal, without having that games need for constantly switching between weapons. The fact that you can swap between shield and spear on the spot allows for some pretty nice comboes. The level design is much better than Dark Ages aswell. Gone are the tedious open world levels that never quite fit in with the theme of a Doom game. Instead the levels are closer to Eternal in their verticality and are full of secrets. There's also a kind of "endgame" that allows you to play through all the levels again, hunting for some additional items while keeping your upgraded weapons. Almost like a New Game+ mode. The story is still a convoluted mess. I don't care much for the story of Doom. In my opinion they should never have bothered to include one in Eternal and Dark Ages. The bare bones "Doom Slayer against hordes of demons" Story of the originals and Doom 2016 was all the game needed. This is quite possibly the best DLC for any of the Doom games. Much better than the Doom Eternal DLCs.

Campaign was alright at best but the dlc is a banger, really hope id software isnt too hurt after layoffs. BRING BACK MICK GORDON
