Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 3.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I honestly do not think Doom 3 BFG Edition deserves the amount of hate it gets. It is not a perfect version of Doom 3, and there are definitely things that could have been handled better, but as a full package it is still a really solid shooter and absolutely worth playing if you like dark atmosphere, classic demon-slaying and old-school FPS design. The biggest improvement over the original Doom 3 is easily the flashlight change. Being able to aim and shoot while keeping the room lit makes the game way more enjoyable, especially because so much of it takes place in dark corridors where enemies jump out at you. In the original version the flashlight restriction could get annoying fast. Here, the combat flows much better, and the game feels less clunky overall. The atmosphere is still one of the best parts. Even now, the Mars base, the horror vibe, the sound design and the monster encounters work really well, it has that classic mix of sci-fi and alien nightmare energy that makes it feel like something between Doom and Alien. The enemy designs are still great too, especially the Imps and Hell Knights which are really memorable to fight. The guns are fun, the later levels give you bigger toys to play with, and when the game leans into its stronger weapons, it becomes a lot more satisfying. That said, it is not without flaws; The pacing can feel uneven, the jump scares are overused, and some of the voice acting is pretty rough. A lot of the environments also start to blur together after a while since so much of the game takes place in the same Mars base style setting. Still, when you put everything together Doom 3 BFG Edition is a very good package. You get the full main game, the DLC, and the core gameplay is still fun. It might not be the most brutal or polished Doom entry but it is definitely a game I would recommend to anyone who wants a moody, creepy and enjoyable FPS with a lot of content that is also very moddable, there's good mod support for DOOM 3 BFG. 8.5/10, would shoot demons in the dark again.
Doom 3 BFG Edition establishes a strong atmosphere, but the core gameplay loop falters through repetitive level design. The experience feels tedious over extended sessions, which complicates the objective of full completion. The multiplayer environment lacks an active player base. This makes the associated achievements functionally impossible for legitimate acquisition. The time investment required to overcome these artificial barriers provides zero additional value to the player experience. I obtained the remaining achievements through the Steam Achievement Manager. I refuse to dedicate fifty hours to a grind that lacks meaningful substance. I apologize to the dedicated achievement hunting community for this shortcut, but I prioritize my time over an arbitrary checklist.
Probably most pirated ever . .but that does not detract from the excellence, apart from the flippin spiders
Классика Дума. Лучший проект за всю историю.
I love this game, maybe the og Doom III was better when it released, but this is the best way to play the game. I remember going to my best friends place after school in 2004/2005 and just sitting there watching him play D3. My best friend isn't here anymore, but Doom 3 holds a lot of special memories for me. I recommend trying it out.
One of the best games of all time! Always a blast to play!!!
Commits two cardinal sins for me. One, I never know where I'm supposed to go, and there's no map, markers, or arrows to follow. So, I spend more time running in circles totally lost than shooting bads. Two, wimpy guns. I don't care if it's the starting pistol, having to dome a guy five times before he drops is just annoying and totally undermines the sense of power and force guns are supposed to evoke. Tons of health on enemies does create a challenge, but it also creates tedium. Endlessly revisiting places I've already been and then saying to myself "Just die already!" to chaff enemies -when I finally find them- is not my idea of a good time.
