Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 3.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Quite repetetive in it's design but shooting is fantastic, vibe is impeccable and it runs fantastic on Steam Deck. Especially with gyro-controls and by adding a weaponwheel instead of sticking to the left-right list of weapons to swap between.
I wish I could put this review at a 50/50 score with respects to negativity and positivity, as, in essence, this game is the pinnacle of average. The combat is just fine and nothing more, and, whilst I like using the multitude of weapons found throughout the game, I think it could've been much better if an alternative fire was added to some weapons and some level of quickswapping was possible (it's non-existent/very janky. I do recognise that such wouldn't really work for the atmosphere desired by the developers, though, but, as the atmosphere failed for me regardless, I think I would still prefer quickswapping [plus most casual players would never even use/realise it]). However, the b-hopping is really fun and fast in combat, so I'll give the game credit there (even if that's probably unintended. Also, on the note of positivity, the main theme track is also really good, imo)! The bosses in relation to said combat are also thereby a joke and unfun (especially the final boss of the main campaign). Additionally, the game is in no way scary and rather just silly, especially in how Betruga just randomly comically laughs and whatnot, or how you'll be fighting demons and some random employee will be blabbering in your ear through your PDA about some utter nonsense. The AI is also sometimes laughably bad (especially in case of the demonified soldiers). This kind of sucks because, Doom 3's purpose, at its heart, is to be scary and have a tense atmosphere (at least that's how I interpret it) and, for me, it fails in doing so, thereby weakening the game. Moreover, the normal shotgun just utterly sucks to use and requires you to stand right in front of the enemy for it to be effective (which isn't how a shotgun should work and is unfun). Also, this game has serious epileptic problems with those suffering from such, especially when you experience the hell portals, which are utterly ridiculous and just a constant bombardment of epileptic flashes (awful, awful design). Finally, the story is... there? It's quite vague and uninteresting. The game itself, really, is just Half-Life + Doom + a bad attempt at horror. Overall, it's the definition of an average game and potentially the worst entry in the Doom franchise, although by no means would I suggest it is a bad game, and I'm especially sure it was much more impressive decades ago upon its release (I also think if you find some level of terror out of this game you'll have a far, far better time than me).
ver fun game and it also comes with doom 1 2 and 3
this game is actually awful. all of the human beings look like inbred horses. the gameplay is on par with sliding my ass across sandpaper in terms of enjoyment. literally any other doom game is like casablanca in comparison, dont play ts
Im so glad this still comes with the OG version because BFG edition is terrible. They got rid of mod support (which was not a doom 3 thing and instead a built in engine thing, so I don’t know why or how they got rid of it), you can no longer skip cutscenes, and VR support was chopped of And soled separately as a PlayStation exclusive. OG version is still good though
Great level design, sound design, storyline, combat balance and as an added bonus you can play this game at ridiculously high resolution and it still runs faster than lightning!
Nice to play an old game again. Controls are a bit dated now and monster spawning is a bit repetitive. The use of audio tapes and emails makes it feel like a modern game. If you like old space shooters, this one scratches the itch well enough.
