Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 3.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Doom 3 is a game for nematode's the "game" is a walking simulator where you sometimes shoot a gun, i got so bored of walking around i shot a man in broad daylight and got no consequences. this game is garbage for homunculus's to enjoy the flashlight isn't even centered on the screen so you can't see what your looking at when you use it AND it's on a timer for no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason (absolutely none) and the good guns in the game go as follow shotgun and that's the list there's no reason to use any other gun in the game because there just ♥♥♥♥ and you never run out of ammo even if you use explicitly one gun i would get more enjoyment by getting cucked by my wife of 5 years while my parents get devoured by wolves 10/10 would play again thank you Helen Keller.
Doom 3 is an odd one. It made critical steps forward for technology while regressing into a caricature of id's own past successes. The BFG Edition is in a similar general state. Its good features are largely offset by unnecessary changes that make the flaws in the original game that much worse, while removing many of its virtues. It's still a good game at the end of the day, and worth a playthrough, but it's far from the best thing ever made on idTech 4. Quake IV and Wolfenstein 2009 both outshine it handily, but Wolf 2009 is not available on Steam at the moment...

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This game's awesome why does nobody talk about it??? I honest to god came into this game expecting a slow, scary, ambient take on doom, akin to Alien Isolation or Resident Evil, instead I got a gracefully aged shooter that kicks ass! Its like a perfect love child between BioShock 2 and Half-Life, its just so smooth and nice to play; jumping around the place getting in kissing distance of a demon and annihilating them with the shotgun watching them dissolve into a red mist leaving nothing but their skeleton and brain, never gets old. Despite being made in 2004 this game looks great, I do think 2016 did a better job of conveying a futuristic outpost on mars and a much better depiction of hell, certainly one that makes more sense in the context of the gameplay - but Doom 3 just nails atmosphere even if it admittedly is far too dark in most situations. Much like 2016 it continues the trend of being just the right length, its long enough where you get a good slice of the mechanics and combat but just short enough where it doesn't start to get stale. I recommend spreading this game out evenly along a week or couple of days, just for a quick shot of something different in-between another game.
really interesting and unique doom game, and i think it does a decent job at being a horror game, and though the jumpscares are pretty meh, atmospherically it delivers
I didn't play a lot of this game back in the day because my PC couldn't run it properly. But it reminds me a lot of the other game, F.E.A.R. Its very different to the rest of DOOM and its kind of the reason the franchise didn't do so well. Its a slower paced, horror shooter and a lot of people didn't like that. But its not as bad as everyone says. Gamers tend to be drama queens when it comes to changes in a franchise. It does love to try and throw jump scares at you though. Sometimes they work. Like in the other DOOMs though, search everywhere. The game also makes a point of telling you to listen to Audio logs, sometimes they have codes in them for storage lockers. The game also doesn't tell you that when you bring up your PDA to check the logs and stuff you found, the game isn't paused. The enemies can and will attack you, so be careful. I don't think it deserves the bad reputation it has and I would recommend playing this if you like F.E.A.R or even Deadspace (no I'm not saying its as good as Deadspace but the gameplay is similar) Also, BFG Edition contains a copy of DOOM 1 & 2. So keep that in mind if you buy the bundle like I did (thankfully it was on sale when I bought it) Edit* trying to lower the volume in game will crash it
