Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 33.29/day in the week to Aug 27 → 19.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Explore several routes, caves, shrines, seas, and mountains
Complete a 15–20 hour story mode, with endless post-game content for completionists

Dokimon Quest was made in MonTamer Maker (MonMae, also known as Luna), a platform/engine built specifically for making monster tamer games. The engine keeps growing thanks to its devs and community — so making new Dokimon Quest (and similar) titles is within arm's reach, even for you.
"Watch out!" "You almost just got singed by a Burnsby!! Didn't you know? They may be cute and cuddly, but they hide amongst plush animals, and strike out at unsuspecting prey. Their cute demeanor can quickly send you on a trip to the hospital!"

Professor Rei: "Oh, hey! I didn't see you there. I was practicing my lines for... err, nevermind."
"My name is Rei! I've made a bit of a name for myself as a Dokimon specialist. Ever since the Great Divide, I've made it my mission to thoroughly document Dokimon on Earth. Dokimon are extremely dangerous creatures, so studying them profusely helps ensure everyone's safety. You probably already knew that, though..."
"But anyway, what are you still doing here? Go play the game already!"

p.s. There is a Dokimon Wiki with information about all monsters, tips, guides, and more. If you're interested, check the Dokimon Quest Steam Community Hub, or search "Dokimon Wiki" in your favorite search engine.

ta bueno 👍
This game is genuinely boring, can't complain too much cause I got it for free but it's not engaging in the slightest and a waste of time. Blatantly ripping off Pokemon without capturing what made people like it in the first place with not so good monster designs save for one or two of them that I found okay. All in all, it's barely worth 5 bucks not 15. Get it on sale if you didn't get it for free like me, and only play it if you like brain dead gameplay and story. Though the ONLY good mon I liked was Dustle, or whatever that little fluffball bird was, that little things adorable need 7 of him please.

A fun game that has that old feel. The music good and the graphics are ok. The character selector at the start was cool, I liked it. The story was interesting at the start but it honestly falls apart in the second half. Doesn't take itself too serious either, which is nice. The gameplay is as you expect, though it has a bunch of QoL differences from the usual. You can access the PC almost anywhere, rangers don't automatically battle you without you first approaching them and you can rebattle them as many times as you want, you can change forms(evolutions) any time, and with it the move pool, you can get more APs the more you use a dokimon and you can distribute the EPs freely as many as you want, so on. Honestly it's great The
second region reference to the old game was interesting, didn't even know it was a reference at the start
. For the bad, I think there's a few bugs, like achievements being delayed, or for example at the start in the Maiko section, if you find a dokimon in the grass and fight it, afterwards it just resets the section back to the start with her waking up, the achievement for catching a dokimon also won't pop. The move list is tiny, by that I mean what you can see, and it makes it confusing to try and select a move to change into and understand it in general. Overall, despite a kinda meh story, it was still loads of fun with a bunch of quality of life changes from what you'd expect and a surprising amount of settings to customize the look and feel of it. Great game.
A great little game. Emulates the style of old Pokemon games, but introduces a lot of new ideas and innovations. Thoroughly surpassed my expectations and was an all-around positive playthrough. It took me about 18 hours to 100% complete the game, without catching every single creature. While I received it for free during a Steam giveaway, knowing what I know now I would have happily bought it for the listed price.
