Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 33.29/day in the week to Aug 27 → 19.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Dokimon Quest was made in MonTamer Maker (MonMae, also known as Luna), a platform/engine built specifically for making monster tamer games. The engine keeps growing thanks to its devs and community — so making new Dokimon Quest (and similar) titles is within arm's reach, even for you.
"Watch out!" "You almost just got singed by a Burnsby!! Didn't you know? They may be cute and cuddly, but they hide amongst plush animals, and strike out at unsuspecting prey. Their cute demeanor can quickly send you on a trip to the hospital!"

Professor Rei: "Oh, hey! I didn't see you there. I was practicing my lines for... err, nevermind."
"My name is Rei! I've made a bit of a name for myself as a Dokimon specialist. Ever since the Great Divide, I've made it my mission to thoroughly document Dokimon on Earth. Dokimon are extremely dangerous creatures, so studying them profusely helps ensure everyone's safety. You probably already knew that, though..."
"But anyway, what are you still doing here? Go play the game already!"

trò chơi hay theo một cách nào đó
Game is quite mediocre. Compared to Pokemon that it is very clearly copying it is worse. Especially when compared to Pokemon fangames. Game does some things better like quality of life features for example game allows you to swap your mons wherever you are in town, you don't need to use PC, you can swap your mons moves without visiting some special NPC, instead of HMs you use items so you don't need to waste move slots. But at same time game has many issues which imo put it behind other pokemon fangames, some of which are free. First of all combat is really bad, it is very sweep heavy and strategic approach hardly exists because of that, status moves are not too useful because what's the point of poisoning enemy if you either one shot him or get one shot. Ik that to some players turn based combat might seem always boring, but there are examples of it done well, this game simply is not one of those. Game also seems to be unfinished, a lot of locations in lategame were fairly empty, there was a city where you could enter literally only 3 buildings, 1 being healing center, 1 being shop 1 being plot building, and it was a major city not a small town. If you managed to grab a game for free it's something you can play to kill some time, but definitely wouldn't recommend buying it considering there are much better pokemon fan games.

Gostei 😃👏
You have to live up to what you look up to. Coming from the brief period when this game was free to own, many (myself included) have jumped on it expecting from its trailer and advertisement an experience similar to the Pokemon games of old. Indeed, upon starting the direct inspiration is clear as day and stays that way for the next 10 to 15 hours across various environments, battles and encounters with the legally distinct creatures. The aim was (to my understanding) to tell another story, featuring a different take with more emotional and dramatic moments, much like its other source of inspiration, the highly influential anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion. Unfortunately, before even being able to do such a thing a variety of problems arise that simply cannot be overlooked. First of all, the presentation and the monsters themselves lack any kind of substance to make them stand out or memorable on their own. In fact, some of them have very similar names to others in the source material. Moreover, the soundtrack does not contribute much either as after 16 hours of playtime none of the tracks stuck as a bop or a jamming tune. While these aspects can be forgiven provided the gameplay delivers, this is not the case. Clunky movement in general, stiff moves swap, a glitchy saving system that may or may not recover your party’s health, confusing directives throughout the journey, constantly popping dialogue boxes for respawning objects, slow transitions, soft locks, desynchronized achievements, the list goes on and on. My biggest gripe though was just how unbalanced the battles were are at points you could simply beat monsters 20 levels above yours by spamming a move, be one shotted by a weaker one out of nowhere, encounter a trainer with a level 100 one without any prior warning, or even disrupt long winded dialogue scenes by defeating a boss too easily by accident. On that note, given that the story was supposed to be one of the highlights in its proposal, the resulting one makes it look as one of the weakest aspects. None of the characters are particularly well written with lines varying between childish and too deep to be taken seriously. Furthermore, your rivals/companions are quickly forgotten in the narrative as well as the elite trainers (this game’s gym leaders) who vary from quirky to rushed in order to fill a quota. Even the main antagonist is just there feeling too plain to make an impression, and the main bad guys gang are more of a joke than an obstacle with no clear incentive other than being malicious probably. Given all of that, in its current state there is simply no way to recommend playing Dokimon. It is too flawed in many aspects to let them slide compared to others in the same genre. Having said that, there have been recent updates that may change that view for the better in the future or its already announced sequel.
O jogo é bem bacana, vale a pena jogar e comprar. Gravei uma gameplay do início do jogo no meu canal https://youtu.be/cuZWgw5E59Q
(While my time reflects as twelve hours, this is not the correct IGT. My IGT is listed as roughly 17 hours thanks to my use of an external speedhack. As the only time I accelerated the game was, generally, grinding, you can consider this to mean 5 hours of grinding overall across the course of the game. This is subject to more optimization than I gave it, which admittedly wasn't much. I also played the game on its hardest difficulty, likely troubling the grind further. If you would like to tweak the game so Cheat Engine's speedhack properly works with it, launch it with these settings in your Launch Parameters via Steam's game preferences. --disable-gpu-vsync --disable-frame-rate-limit -force-d3d11-no-singlethreaded ) Dokimon is an adorable game reminiscent of Gameboy Color titles for a number of reasons. Though the style is outwardly GBC, it does so in a way reminiscent of how Shovel Knight handles its SNES aesthetic- faithful to the style, but not to the limitations. The entire world is beautifully rendered in a bevy of hand-made pixel art with a lot of care that shows and shines in the work. As a long-time fan and even fangame developer of Pokemon, I find myself impressed with the scale of this project. Dokimon's combat is, at first, very simple. My biggest critique may well be how long it takes to get interesting. Assuming you're new to the genre, that isn't a big issue, and if you are, welcome to monster collectors! However, having started on the game's hard difficulty, I found most of the difficulty to come from factors external to simply 'combat'. Real planning and team building doesn't really happen until about halfway through the game (Which you might not even be sure you're in, thanks to how fast the 'latter half' seems to pass all at once) but when it does, a majority of your battles quickly become double battles. While this affords for far more strategy than a simple one-on-one format would at most times- and one of the last major bosses is in fact a double battle to test you on this- both 'final bosses' are single battles, which I found a bit disappointing, but understandable given how hard it would be to write doubles as a boss. Of course, that sounds like a lot of negative points. But this is all to say this, as a game, already does so much better than many fan-projects I've both seen and helped develop do, all with a fairly limited scope. While I acquired this game for free, I paid full-price for the DLC, and don't regret doing so. I even wish I'd bought the game at full price, which I think will drive me to take a look at its sequel. Dokimon is an incredibly approachable game for people new to the genre, and people experienced with it might find itself by the bevy of things to do in its postgame, with or without the DLC. If you do decide to get the DLC, I highly, HIGHLY suggest doing its content before at all pursuing the portal to the north that appears when first beating the game! This is technically a spoiler, but it's very important to know for your own sanity. While I do not believe Dokimon's combat excels that far above any other creature collector's really, I do think it has great QOL compared to its contemporaries, leading to an overall smoother gameplay experience. Its story is also very well written, even for the ridiculous haymaker it gives you as the story picks up the pace from cutesy to serious. The lore is somewhat fascinating to sink my teeth into, with the implications of events being at once hilarious and unsettling. That being said, don't hype yourself up for anything with Deltarune levels of lore-digging here, you won't get that deep. I think overall this was the perfect kind of game to play while sick. It's just... Cozy. I never had to think too particularly hard, even if I was a little impatient for the grinding. I'm sure if I put my head to it a bit more, it wouldn't be such an issue. A fun game to 100% that doesn't demand overmuch (I like the game, but not so much I'm about to living dex it) and I look forward to the sequel.
