Can't recommend the current build. It feels like this build isn't supposed to be the public release build or v2.0 was rushed. -Sliding got removed, -Cool melee animations got removed. No more kicking, no more takedowns, -No more combat roll. -Inventory mechanics and weapon durability mechanic drastically slows down the flow. -"More weapon variants" yet the pump shotgun got removed and we never get to use the weapons featured in the DLC trailer. -Grenades got removed. -STILL can't skip cutscenes. -Secret chests give you more rifles than you'll ever have enough ammo for. -Secret chests give you a sniper that you get a whopping 3 rounds for. -Only one spawn of the Glock. -Only 2 or3 spawns of the Uzi. -DLC level design just looks bad and doesn't match the trailer. -Enemies are bullet sponges now and are headshots are no longer 1 hits. -Weird mechanics that don't exist; like buildables that you can't use. A crafting table that does nothing, and Landmines that you can place but are pretty useless. A single equipable item that increases inventory and has warmth stats but no such mechanics are in the game. Food items have hunger and thirst stats but again that mechanic doesn't exist. Cookable raw food with no way to cook it. Driving mechanic exists in short sections that are pretty pointless. The game is padded out for runtime to hit the 2 hours which isn't even that big of a deal. The level design is kind of bad but it's an indie so that's forgivable. The humor and writing is really what needs to carry the game and I'm worried the dev is taking things in the wrong direction. I wish the earlier builds were still available. That being said I'm still looking forward to the next free DLC and the potential sequel.
