We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

TLDR DOWN BELOW! Got this game as a present from a friend which passed away recently, and I would like to remember when I enjoyed every moment against them. Made me enjoy the game for what it was, a game. Thank you for giving me one last time to fight without caring about: game mechanics and skill differences, RIP my dood RIP. And as much as I liked the game, the more and more I understand how to play.... The more and more I realize, I hate this game. The game is fun don't get me wrong, but does everyone need: A FFIN skill that is a 2 INPUT INVINCIBLE DP At least 1 or MORE HALF SCREEN MOVES? Ranked matches are horrid (AND DEAD) too with people who rinse and repeat because lag will usually make or break your matchups. Especially against people who spam ranged attacks which have like instant recovery time. Anytime you try to push buttons in the air someone just pushes DOWN+ (X/A) for a DP that will make you die inside every time it hits you. The damage scaling is AWFUL BEYOND BROKEN! Combos are near infinite, too impossible for a comeback when certain combo does 50% HEALTH OR DEATH! 50% OR DEATH! "BUT NOOB DEFEND YOURSELF!" How tf am I suppose to defend myself when there is no: FFiN airblock NO BURST/ Combo breaker Defensive options. No comeback mechanic (if that's your thing) The dash/dodge mechanic are very iffy on every match especially against lag! If you dodge against certain moves you usually end up getting punished HARD! Since the recovery time for the dodge is hot garbage you usually are stuck zoned out against certain matchups. Lastly put; game is enjoyable if you love fighters or are oblivious/don't care about mechanics. The artwork and soundtracks are amazing to say the least, and not to mention multiple Voice acted options are a PLUS! Would say this is a fun game to play if you had more friends that are either the same skill or just a fan of fighters. Sadly overall, defensive options are weak, and the devs are; too little too late on balancing/bug fixes.
TLDR:
If you really like fighters and have friends to play with why not, but even I would recommend to get it on HIGHER than 50% discount. Otherwise, avoid like the plague if you are in it to win it! Save your money and just wait for T8 and SF6 this year 2023! No one reads reviews on steam so I'll say this: I wanna SMASH Striker between her glutes so damn hard!

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

The game is dead in terms of those who only play SF and Tekken, but it was alive as a "discord game". We typically host a tournament of this game every three months, with casual matches here and there in between. But in our last tournament, we were unable to spectate matches. Rooms get disbanded by a bug, then we were unable to join rooms again unless we rebooted the game. So this game does not even qualify as a "Discord game" anymore. In this state, it is completely trash. You can check by yourself, troubles start after one hour of the tournament. We had to use a combination of Parsec, 1vs1 room, and offline matches the next day to finish the bracket. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iyRJDpWBy20
It's a fun game Definitely not for everyone, and that's OK; people have their own tastes I'll leave some pros and cons about the game below, but I implore you to read some of the thoughts I have about the game as a high level player. I will say; give the game a fair chance. While the company behind the game may be a mess, the gameplay is solid and a good entry point for fighting game players. If you have friends or locals that like to play the game, feel free to hop in, press some buttons and have some fun!
BUT
AND THIS IS A HUGE BUT Be sure to have some friends to play with if you get the game It's always best to have people of the same skill level to play against and having some friends to play the game alongside you will greatly improve your experience with the game There is very little solo content in the game and playing online is going to be difficult if you aren't interested in running into players playing hundreds of hours more than you In addition, as much as I love the game, I can't in full conscience recommend the game at full price. Unfortunately, the game does suffer from regional pricing, but at the very least, the game does go on sale for 60% off on occasion as it has each time a DLC character has released.
Positives about the gameplay:
+ It's a fun game to mash in. Buttons have weight to them, grounded movement feels very responsive, great visuals, and combos are very flashy while not being too hard to execute + The game doesn't require much investment to play in; it's a game where resource management and general knowledge of how RPS works in fighting games work can carry you a long way. + It's a high-power game. Because of the strength of all characters, a match is never decided early, especially with the Awakening comeback mechanic. Matches are always high tension where a single lapse of judgement can easily lead to a loss. + Neutral is incredibly important in DNF Duel despite people saying that the average range of moves being halfscreen. Moves cannot be thrown out haphazardly even against characters blocks as it provides white life to the opponent, opening up the Conversion mechanic. CV (Conversion) is the main meat of the game for people looking for more depth in DNF Duel as it opens up opportunities for stronger everything at the cost of your health. Deciding when to use your HP as a resource and being able to utilize it to your full potential is integral to becoming a strong DNF Duel player.
Cons of the gameplay:
- The Guard Gauge is a mechanic that prevents you from blocking too much. Management of the Guard Gauge is important to DNF and should be an aspect as to what makes it interesting. However, because of its inclusion, characters are often seperated into those who can abuse the Guard Gauge and those who cannot. Because of the emphasis on the Guard Gauge, not many characters have a wide variety of offensive options. In most fighting games, you can go into high/ low mixups, frametraps, strike throw, plus frames, command grabs; the list goes on. However, with DNF Duel, throws are notoriously bad, high/ low mixups are scarce and plus frames are rare or require the use of Mana, the resource to use specials in DNF Duel. - Despite DNF Duel being an extremely high power game, the combos can take a long time to happen, especially when the supers are used. Most DNF supers are at least 9 seconds long, which completely stops the flow of gameplay. The other problems with supers being that long is their frequency after the post-Spectre patch. - Another problem of DNF Duel being a high power game is the fact that a single mistake can lead to a game loss. This is important in the case of specific knowledge checks against most characters in the cast. This means that the longer you play in DNF Duel, the more you have to study other characters and lab against them. While this may be a positive to some lab monsters, some of the solutions may not seem intuitive and may be hard to discover when playing casually, leading to frustration.
The post launch support of this game is the most baffling I've ever seer in a modern fighting game, 8 months since they announced the first DLC character and there's STILL no release date even despite of showing us how the character's animations had been seemingly finished months ago. This game just has increasingly less potential of turning around and any enjoyment you could get out of it has been made harder since the devs mistreated it this bad.
Me dolió comprar este juego, me dolió que no lo balanceasen, me dolió que no lo actualicen y me duele que haya muerto

This game needs to be re looked at man. this game got fixed and is super solid now. please play it.
Good game have no idea why people would stop playing because of marketing, but let this be a lesson to the devs silence is worse communication, Communication is KEY. Game is fun for new fgc fighters and is alot of fun great combos and great mechanics! Lets try and keep this one alive!
