Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
About
Sums Steam only; PlayStation publishes no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Lower the price, Add crossplay, Add new content. This would be one of the best fighting games you can play then. As it stands it is still fun AF. Inquisitor goated.
Tonight I randomly decided to read some of these reviews and I can't believe the shallowness of the top negative ones. I knew these were mixed: I expected to see legitimate complaints about the historical lack of support and communication from the publisher/devs, maybe matchmaking glitches, balance problems, people still complaining about Swift Master... but no, it's mostly about how the game is "dead". Seriously? I get why people think the game is "dead" because, um, yeah, if I try to queue up at 1AM US/Eastern on a Wednesday I'm going to be lucky if I waiting for 10-20 minutes just to finally match with someone playing in another hemisphere. But for me, just jumping on after work for an hour or two over about 3 weeks, I've gotten close to 400 matches, many of which were fun and competitive over pretty solid connections. So you WILL get some matches, AND the game has a good community, so I wouldn't even call it dead. Even if it was dead, that's a lousy reason to give DNF a thumbs-down. That's like calling Christmas a crappy holiday just because nobody's celebrating it right now in April. Get on one or more of the DNF Discord servers (links happen to be on the Dustloop page) to see how this game's being celebrated every week of the year. I almost don't want to explain why the game's a good time; I'm just a scrub getting gatekept out of Terranite by matchups I don't understand yet. I still don't know the best times to guard cancel. I occasionally get blown up for doing something silly just because I thought it would be funny if it worked. Truth is, it was funny anyway. It's a funny game. I've had more fun per match with random folks in DNF than in any of its peers. YES, the full-screen normals are really something and the long touch-of-death combos won't be for everyone (truthfully, not even me), but this game's got some really unique and intuitive systems that are complemented well by the scenery and the enjoyable characters to produce a genuinely unique and satisfying experience. My recommendation is that if you're bored with whatever fighting game you're playing currently (for me this was mostly GBVSR) give DNF a shot. Just pick whichever character you think is cool/hot and you'll probably find a refreshing surprise.
honestly was pretty fun but you REALLY have to find discords/friends to actually boot up as the game was abandoned as fast as it came. Hopefully the eighting devs learned their lessons with the game and apply them to the hunter hunter game when that comes. only buy with cheap codes or whenever a sale comes up, this being $50 is insane given the game averages less than 30 players daily.
it look like dead game with high price and short content and Few character just save your money
Before I played DNF Duel i had a small wee wee, no friends, no girlfriend, depression and absolutely no will to live. None of these things have changed, but the game is pretty good.
The game is incredibly well put together and awesome to play. Incredible netcode, fantastic art, fun characters, good music. As far as fighting games go, DNF Duel is also fairly beginner friendly. On top of that, you can choose among simpler characters or characters with the potential to be used at a high-complexity level, meaning the game can be interesting for all levels of experience. There has been some unfortunate marketing lately, balance could be improved upon, and regional pricing has its issues. That being said, the gameplay update and first Season Pass release coming June 12th are expected to change the game and add more variety to how the whole cast is played. With the release of Spectre as a character, the game will now be on a proper development path with the rest of the Season Pass characters having been worked on in parallel and on their way soon. Any other complaint with the game usually boils down to "this game doesn't play like my favorite fighting game," "I'm not good at it," or "It's not popular enough." When it comes to explosive comebacks with long looping combos (Berserker, for example), this issue has been identified by the developers and is expected to be addressed with the July 12 patch - hopefully, addressed well. There is an active player network on Discord, and regular tournaments with skilled and beginner settings alike. You can find the "DNF Grind" Discord link somewhere on Twitter if you look. Between finding matches, a wealth of character tech/resources, and news about the game and related events, it's a great place to go if you enjoy the game. Many people in the FGC, big names and nobodies alike, would love to see DNF Duel thrive. Hopefully with continued player support, we can live to see that happen.
This game could have been really incredible. This game is actually really fun to play. Character design is awesome, and each fighter has so much personality. With the DFO roster, the premise is soooo sick. As for the cons. The balance issues, even though this was the point, could still be addressed in some ways. Combo routes are all discovered at this point. Both players spend time fishing for a hit confirm, with some of the most ABSURD normals, that leads to one combo that loops into itself and then you just win. The game quickly died after launch. It took devs a whole year after launch to communicate, and there was some poor decisions. The devs are communicating and all that now, but a little late. A shame though because DNF Duel could have been so much more
