Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I definitely recommend! ... going trough some reviews first and NOT payng the full price for this experiment of a game. If, by any chance, this is your first game from Larian Studios. Just stop and go play something better from them first :) The title is misleading. Only a very small portion of the game is about dragon... actually if you are good in the strategy part of the game you will skip the RTS part as the battles will resolve automatically. You only do the RTS when you manage your units poorly and the enemy outnumbers you. The single player campaing is short. 10h? Not all of it good. But I ejnoyed it in the end.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 10: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

An excellent and charming strategy game. The game is split into to phases: Diplomacy/Board movement and Combat. The first phase is where the game really shines. There's plenty of hard choices to make (almost unrelentingly so). Do you spend your gold on troops for board control or build academy's to upgrade your troops? Do you support gay rights or shun them to get tactical support from the undead? This is the heart and soul of the game. The Combat phase is also cool. You begin combat by selecting who will lead the battle and what resources you want to spend on it. If you let one of your generals do it (or let your troops fight without a general because you don't want to spend the cash) the game will auto resolve the battle. If you lead the battle yourself then the RTS gameplay will happen. I've only briefly played one RTS game before this one (Company of Heros 2) so I can't really comment on how it compares to it's competitors. That being said as a beginner RTS player I thought is was pretty neat. There's plenty of unique units to research (as well as techs that improve the units already available) that keep things fresh throughout the course of the game's runtime. That being said, I only really decided to lead battles that had a low chance to succesfully auto resolving as I preferred to let my generals do most of the fighting. Because of this, most of the fights I fought were fairly difficult but I was able to win most of them. On higher difficulties (or any difficulty really) it's impossible to win every single battle. By the end of the game I had about 80 victories and 25 losses. This may sound like I curbed stomped the enemies but truly I was crawling my way to victory most of the way through. In a nutshell, the gameplay loop is about either making combat easier on yourself or making the political decision that sound right by you. It made me tense all of the time, and as exhausting as it was that is part of the games charm. The other part of the games charm is the quirky characters you meet and command, all with branching paths that give meaningful consequences and bonuses. A lot of people have pointed out shortcomings of this game, but I think the game's strengths out shine them. As of writing this review I've only gone through the game once, but I'm eager to do another playthrough soon and make choices I didn't make last time. This game is kick-ass and a must own. If you want to wait for it to go on sale it goes as low as $4. BUY THIS GAME Oh and also you get to be a dragon. It's pretty neat.
My experience for this game is weird. First and foremost, the RTS part of the game didn't work at all. The game crashed every time I went into RTS phase. I finished the game without doing a single RTS Battle and I have my achievment to prove for it. Having the possibilty of playing the game even with a critical bug actually gave me some relief rather than giving me anger because of said bug. I was scared there would be RTS phase that cannot be avoided but that never came. I enjoyed the game even though I was deprived of 30% of it. So make your own opinion based on that fact. This bug should make me not reccomend the game. I played the game at highest difficulty though and it then proved to be the best Risk game I ever played and enjoyed lol. As I didn't have any dragon power available to win my battle I had to play the game with strategy only and that proved tricky at first. In late game you just spam the destroyer and roll on everything with it... All other units are just there to support it and allow it to land and reach the target. Because I only played with the strategy side of the game by auto-resolving all the battles the pace might have seemed faster to me. Then there was Edmund. That condescending lizard commander is alot alike the red prince but at least three times better in terms of writing for those who played divinity original sin 2. He's witty to point of being funny. Adding the rest of the cast makes for enjoyable dialogue while I, at first, thought the dialogue sequences would be dull. Most of the characters are actually interesting. Except for Maxos the wizard who's really dull. The third thing that marked me was the dialogue sequence with the demon. You have this calm music in the background with only part of a huge ominous head visible and I found the atmosphere of that scene fabulous. I played almost all divinity games. I found most of them slow and repetitive and hard to finish. I found a lot of characters in divinity games reveals themselves to be shallow. I didn't found that this time. I finished Dragon commander. This game is unique in the divinity serie of games because it focus on the narration and it actually made me enjoy again this great serie of game.

requires some trouble shooting but its a solid semi rts/visual novel game... can't really ask for much from an indie game made on a gas station budget
