Just ran around like a headless chicken not knowing what to do, then tried something and got killed for it and the game expects me to redo everything from the beginning, no thanks.
It is a very good classic survival horror in first person. Puzzles ARE mostly logical, but hard either way. Enemies hurt, ammo is scarce but not too scarce. It delivers the seemingly long lost feelings. ...but man, sometimes it can be really crap kicking. And i'm not even talking about a couple of extremely cryptic puzzles made for early access to later parts of the game. Anyway, it's good. I personally even prefer it to waaaaay too stressful and much more demanding Total Chaos.
spoopy and fun, a little hard and the puzzles are challenging, defi inspired by resident evil
If a game that fuses the survival horror structure of Resident Evil with the art of an old-school Doom clone and the sensibilities of an Eli Roth film sounds good to you, definitely pick this up. Graphics The graphics are excellent for what they are, with moody environments and detailed sprite art that communicate well the gory B-flick mad science setting. Music The music is similarly fitting, if sparse, and has that kind of haunted somber feel that goes well with the game's open-ended map exploration. Level Design The map itself is impressive; both big and sprawling but also dressed up well enough to make it easy and rewarding to explore. Despite the Doom aesthetic, unlike Doom the levels have a relatively grounded feel; with desks and lamps and rooms with specific purposes sprinkled throughout to make the environments feel like they belong in a real place. Story The story is very reminiscent of something like the edgy but shallow gore-obsessed Saw series, or any film by Eli Roth, and I mean that in the best possible way. If it's your thing, it's your thing. It also has shades of The Island of Dr. Moreau about it, which I'm a huge sucker for so take that as you will. Content + Gameplay Make no mistake, the game itself is anything but shallow, featuring a fully realized campaign as well as a free bonus one! It's priced far lower than it should be with the amount of content on offer here. It's a little rough around the edges when it comes to combat, which can feel overly simplistic but hey - it's survival horror, since when is the combat what you're here for? It also features a classic RE-style resource-based saving mechanic, which really ramps up the tension, and encourages you to think about ways to optimize your run, which lends itself great to speed-running if that's your thing. (The game even features a built in timer for this purpose.) While I haven't finished the game yet, already I'd recommend it for anyone who is wary just because of the pricing and low review count. This is absolutely a full price experience knee-capped at 2.99, and it deserves your attention, especially if you're looking for a meaty but gore-hound flavored survival horror experience.
its hard to recommend the game is okay at everything it attempts but starts to get overly aggravating when the worst enemies ever created in videogames appear. Flying human torsos with a bear head and dual machine gun hands also they have angel wings, lazer pin point accuracy and flies like well a fly also has hitpoints like a tank or it just feels that way because you miss every shot you take. Was really enjoying this game until you get swarmed by these things. If the game looks fun to you I would play on the lowest difficulty just because the game has balancing issues and is the funnest way to play this relic of a indie.
Yeah, that was worth my time. Creepy, weird and hard. Had fun figuring the map out and exploring around chased by cheetah women with tits hanging out. DLC was cool too.
Game is good if you enjoy Resident evil in a Doom engine. The game is pretty difficult even on Valiant especially with limited saves
yesss this is it. dismantled
