Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless

This game is A LOT better than 6 that's for sure. got all the achievements and blah blah. BIG FAN of the series. I'm very peeved at NISA (not NIS the devs, the localizers/marketers) I would recommend this game but not anymore! The marketing choices they made for the NEW CONTENT is very scummy. Disgaea 7 Complete is only on the Switch 2 outside of Japan. that has Asagi, limit breaking over 99 Million of stats and giving genetic/creatable characters HELL MODE besides the Main characters/DLC! What's worse I've heard! Japanese version offer a FREE upgrade ALL PLATFORMS! Asagi is just small paid DLC! I don't know if Nintendo is to blame to jail the new content to help them sell their Switch 2s over here in America. But its obvious this will piss the fans. Disgaea 6 was only for the switch for like a year or 2? Yea I double dip it but this way is more reasonable. You don't do this backwards! Switch to ALL PLATFORMS is ok! BUT ALL PLATFORMS to SWITCH 2 ONLY?? YOU GOTTA BE FREAKING KIDDING! Just to add salt to wound. its a game key card. AND Switch 1 owners? Yea, you don't get the upgrade til ya buy the game AGAIN!! So everyone LOSES. Offer the new content to other platforms. then I recommend this game.

To start off with let me say that were it not for the fact that we have no access to the content contained within the Nintendo switch 2 version, I would actually be happily recommending this game. Having said that I feel that unless this issue regarding the disparity between the Nintendo Switch 2 version is resolved I cannot recommend this game. In fact this whole situation regarding the difference between versions has so soured my experience with not only this game but Nippon Ichi as a whole that I refuse from now on to purchase any of their products unless this situation is rectified.

絶対にsteamでは買うな！ 最終アプデがいつまでも来ないので、肝心なやりこみ要素や育成要素が不完全なままです。 ディスガイアでやり込みと育成封しるとか一番やっちゃいけんやろ・・・ 噂では、販売元に問い合わせた方曰く、最終アプデが適用される予定は今のところ（数か月前の段階で）無いようです。ふ。。く あまりにも詐欺まがいな手法なので返金申請してますが、おそらく絶対に通らないでしょう・・・ 発売日にデラックス版に1万以上出したのに全部遊べないのマ？？？ 今後販売元とパブリッシャーが違う国産ゲームはコンシューマーで買う事にするよ

I loved the game but it no longer runs on Windows 11 and the devs have not patched it nor acknowledged the issue. It is literally unplayable and causes the whole machine to lock up.

Lol @ them not patching the crashing which calls for an entire reboot. Literally unplayable game. Honestly, go ♥♥♥♥ yourselves. Worst devs ive encountered for the budget and history.

ゲーム自体はかなり面白いです。 ディスガイアのこういうの良いんだよって要素がしっかりと詰め込まれています。 が、CS版のアップデート、特にストーリー関連がPCには来ておらず公式からも何のアナウンスもないという不誠実さが露呈したためPCで購入するのはお勧めしません。

Ever Since Windows update 24h2 the game will lock your pc and require a force shutdown after 10-30 minutes of play.

Having the same issues as everyone with the game crashing your entire computer if you're on Windows 11. Was looking forward to coming back and finishing it, but I guess that's not in the cards.

On "sale" this somehow costs more than a full priced Call of Duty game which are infamous for being overpriced. Also with Microtransactions for a Single Player game. OK. Even if you ignore the overcharging of the game, NIS released a Complete version of the game for PS4 and Switch in Japan which includes all the DLC, more content (for a small fee) and some QoL (for free). Instead of NISA also doing this they decided to make that QoL update a Switch 2 exclusive, which costs less than the Steam version. Could NISA for 5 minutes not be the completely worst publisher to exist and do something decent or would the entire company collapse? Also if you use Steam Big Picture (inc Steam Deck Game Mode) you're forced to have a max resolution in borderless. They completely locked changing the setting. This includes PCs. Why. The Anti Aliasing implementation is also particularly awful with both TAA and FXAA seemingly doing near nothing as everything will continue to look like a horrible blocky mess. Thankfully they included SSAA so you can at least have no horrid jaggies at the cost of greatly increased GPU usage. The game also has a major stuttering problem, here and there the game will have horrible stuttering and it's constant with it even happening in the credits. Also no Tenpei Sato. Probably the biggest issue here. Music was the one thing keeping me going through Disgaea 6. Update: After finishing the game I can safely say that while gameplay wise it's better than Disgaea 6 that doesn't save it from being a terrible boring game with terrible character designs that feel like Haratake was forced to follow the trash trend of VTubers and Genshin (clearly isn't washed because the designs for previous characters in Disgaea RPG are still great) with said characters being terrible and I feel nothing for them. Go buy literally any game before 6.
