Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Sep 7 → 0.86/day in the week after.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

PD: Tremenda prota Regina

Fantastic survival horror that aged extremely well. The menu is a bit annoying and the controls can be funky but it's kind of understandable for such an old game, you'll get used to it after a few minutes. I went in 100% blind with no experience but it was a very good experience. It's a lot harder than I'd imagine which I greatly appreciated. The puzzles were hella satisfying and the game length is sufficient. At many points in the game I would think, "man this is actually very good for a two decade old game." Another plus is many of the design and camera angles reminded me of Metal Gear Solid which is a good reminder of the earlier times. If you like true survival horror then you'll like this game. This game isn't as face-paced or action orientated like many modern survival games so you'll need patience. 9/10.
Jogo excelente, vários desafios, lembrou minha infancia
Positives

Perilous resource management
Threatening enemies
Respectable length

Negatives

Technical hiccups
Tank controls

Conclusion
Dino Crisis is a big step back to the PS1 era of survival horror. As a sibling to the classic second and third Resident Evil games, well-thought out resource management and enemy placement encounters with dinosaurs genuinely risky as you're forced to contend with them in claustrophobic laboratory hallways while solving puzzles and navigating your way with tank controls. There's an effort apparent in ensuring that the encounters have some evolution or surprise that work to great effect that gives the "horror" in "survival horror" presence in a primarily 90s sci-fi flick. The game doesn't overstay its welcome in length, but keeps the ride fresh enough to last a respectable number of hours. As expected with PS1 PC ports, there are technical difficulties that necessitate the use of the Classic REbirth patch that players can obtain and install easily with Mulderland's Enhancement Pack in the community guide for the game. Though up to personal preference, the tank controls can be challenging to learn for unfamiliar players. More often than not, they can indirectly lead to you losing precious resources if you're not careful enough. Overall, Dino Crisis is still well worth playing as a forgotten staple-that-should've-been in the survival horror hall of game. Its story is not much to ride home about, and marring the technical issues inherent with these ports, it's a unique Resident Evil-adjacent experience that players, especially fans of that franchise, should give a chance.
Thumbs up for this amazing classic, thumbs down for The Enigma Protector DRM. Wow and I thought Resident Evil (1996) was hard. Enemies are super tough (even on Easy), BARELY any ammo to find, the puzzles are challenging (mainly because the numbers/combinations have changed so a lot of guides are incorrect) however, what a super cool story! GOG > Steam 8/10
A Masterpiece. Those who played Dino Crisis all those years ago know what a gem this game is, and it's great to see the fan base is still strong amongst old and new players alike. It's such a shame DC has not yet receieved a full remake like Resident Evil, perhaps Capcom didn't read the memo that dinosaurs are very popular right now. In a world saturated by zombie games, to see this classic remade would be refreshing and appreciated by the fans. I think I speak on behalf of all the fans when I say we want to see a remake right now.
