Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.57/day in the week to Aug 25 → 4.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
G'Day! Grab your tools, gather resources, and build your town while hanging out with friends and enjoying the charm of Dinkum.
Plant crops, raise animals, and build your dream farm, or roam the island catching fish and bugs at your own pace.
With changing seasons and weather affecting how your crops grow, every day brings a new challenge. Slip on your flip-flops to hunt for rare fish, bugs, or ores. Every moment becomes a special adventure.
From red deserts and lush forests to hidden mines, Dinkum is full of wild places to explore. Hunt wild animals, gather resources, and learn how to survive in the great outdoors.
The creatures might look cute, but don't let your guard down! You'll need tools, weapons, and a solid strategy to make it out in one piece. Will you go head-to-head, or set traps and play it smart? The choice is yours.

What starts as a simple campfire and a sleeping bag can grow into a thriving town with shops, fountains, flower beds, and windmills.
Craft furniture and decorations to personalize your home, reshape the island to design your ideal town layout, and customize your character's look from head to toe. Invite friends over to show off your one-of-a-kind creation!

Sell your harvest and foraged goods to earn Dinks, and reinvest them to help your town flourish.
As your town grows, new shops will open, visitors will stop by—and some might even decide to stay for good. Celebrate with festivals and build a vibrant, lively town, whether you're playing solo or with friends.

Reviews
very fun, can be grindy. villagers don't have story depth. building your town just how you'd like it can be tedious. i love the gameplay loop of collecting, doing requests, selling my silly fish, and eventually doing mine dives. combat is clunky and not really my cup of tea. overall, the game just feels clunky in some areas, but i love the grindy gameplay loop so i'm good with that.
Basically an Australian version of Animal Crossing, fantastic.

游戏很好,如果能造中空建筑就更好了,我真的很需要地下室或者空中阁楼。
Dinkum – Animal Crossing, But the Outback Wants You Dead
If you ever played Animal Crossing and thought, "This is nice, but I wish a giant crocodile would death-roll me while I’m trying to plant a tree," then Dinkum is your game. It’s a cozy Aussie life-sim that is 90% relaxing and 10% pure, unadulterated terror.

1. The Vibe: "Cozy Chaos"
The game nails that "Build a Town" loop, but with an Australian coat of paint. You’re catching bugs, donating to the museum, and enticing quirky NPCs to move into your bush-town. The Difference: In Animal Crossing, the animals want to give you a sweater. In Dinkum, the animals want to liquidate your organs. You haven't lived until you've been chased across a billabong by a Frilled Lizard because you stepped too close to its personal space.
2. The Deep Mines: "I Am Legitimatey Traumatized"
Let’s talk about the Mine Pass. You pay a chunk of Dinks for a one-time ticket to hell. Scarier than Phasmophobia: I’ve hunted ghosts in VR, and nothing—absolutely nothing—is as stressful as being deep in the mines with a flickering torch while hearing the screech of fifty bats. The Pressure: You’re on a clock, you paid for the entry, and the darkness is absolute. Then you hear the clicking of a Bush Devil or see the glow of a Croc in the distance. Phasmophobia is about jump scares; the Dinkum mines are about the slow-burning realization that you are trapped in a cave with things that move faster than you. The Gear Gap: Going down there with a basic pickaxe is basically a suicide mission. You’re frantically mining ore while checking your six every three seconds like you’re in a tactical shooter.
3. The Loop: "Just One More Day"
Despite the trauma of the mines, the game is incredibly addicting. Progression: The license system is a great way to gate content without it feeling like a slog. Unlocking the ability to drive a motorcycle through the desert just to go buy some seeds is peak gaming. The "Aussie" Flair: Using a "Barbecue" instead of a generic stove and dealing with "Dinks" instead of Bells gives it a personality that stands out from the sea of Stardew clones.

Final Verdict
4.5/5 Meat Pies. It’s the best "Not-Animal-Crossing" on PC. It’s relaxing, it’s rewarding, and it features a mining system that will give you actual heart palpitations. Just remember to bring a spear and a stack of cooked meat, or the outback will reclaim your soul before you even find your first Ruby.
Doesn't support mods
The third level of the mines just feels lazy and tedious in every aspect. Visually even with light sources is hard to visually see anything if you are not over lava. The enemies are infuriating with an overpowered burn status added to everything for artificial difficulty. It is better to avoid fighting or engaging in anything to get better loot. You are way more punished when actually playing engaging with mobs. For a cozy game- this ruins the experience and turns the game into just annoying. If you spammed mobs to avoid chest looting without engaging it failed. Just add a mechanic where the chest doesn’t open until x amount of mobs are destroyed. There should be a way to lessen burning or completely become immune with a expensive meal or treasure item. Until then, why design something so annoying in a mostly cozy game? Just annoying.
server sucks
This game is really good! I would 100% recommend buying it, I cant wait for future updates. I do feel like there needs to be a bit more added because once you get far in the game there's not as much to do. Still a really fun game though.
