The game is glitchy and still crashes, even after following others' advice on how to fix crash issues.

Mi juego favorito desde chica, tenía tanta ilusión de tenerlo y lo compré pese a las malas reseñas que tenía porque revisando los comentarios vi que los bugs tenían solución. Jugué hasta el nivel 10 con el mouse todo buggeado porque en verdad quería jugarlo, hasta que me hartó no pasarlo luego de tantas veces (sigo sin pasarlo aún con el lag del mouse resuelto xdddd), así que le pregunté a Gemini cómo resolver el bug y me dio paso a paso cómo resolverlo y puedo jugarlo sin problema :D La solución ES MUY SENCILLA, les pongo el paso a paso: [b]Arreglar el Crash al iniciar (Intro/Outro)[/b] El juego suele cerrarse solo porque no puede reproducir los videos antiguos. 1. Ve a tu biblioteca de Steam. 2. Haz clic derecho sobre Diner Dash: Hometown Hero > Administrar > Ver archivos locales. 3. Entra en la carpeta llamada assets. 4. Busca los archivos intro.mpg y outro.mpg y bórralos. Esto hará que el juego salte directamente al menú sin cerrarse. [b]Arreglar el Glitch del Mouse[/b] Si el mouse no hace clic donde debe o desaparece: 1. En la carpeta principal del juego, haz clic derecho en Diner Dash Hometown Hero.exe (el que tiene el icono del juego) > Propiedades. 2. Ve a la pestaña Compatibilidad. 3. Marca la casilla "Deshabilitar optimizaciones de pantalla completa". 4. Haz clic en "Cambiar configuración elevada de PPP". 5. Marca la casilla de abajo ("Invalidar el comportamiento...") y asegúrate de que diga "Aplicación". 6. En esa misma pestaña, activa la compatibilidad con Windows XP (Service Pack 3). 7. Dale a Aceptar y luego a Aplicar.

Game runs perfectly when playing in windowed mode. 10/10. Nostalgic.

It works fine! Remember to play the game in window mode and not full screen, otherwise it won't work properly.

attention never ever buy this game o bought it and it sucks whem i entered it freezeed and it wouldnt even let me play then flo the waiter of the game it appeared and talked to me and responded to me and killed the customers and wanted to virus my laptop but thank god windows 11 antivirus and microsoft destroyed her if you dont have virus or if you have antivirus she cant destroy your laptop and she will jumpscare you but if you dont have antivirus there will appear a anti piracy but i destroyed her with antivirus but its rare bc my friends didnt have it they were lucky

game works perfectly fine for me! i didn't test it on full screen though since i really don't usually play on full screen anyways. never encountered any technical issues, so i guess it just really depends on your pc. i used to play the original diner dash back in y8.com as a kid and discovering this version in my 20s was so exciting! i didn't realize that they made other versions with different mechanics :) feels good to rediscover something from my childhood and realize that there was even more to it! levels were really challenging, took me 16 hours to get through the entire storyline and i didn't even get expert on all the levels yet! really happy this still works :)

Beach shack at the boardwalk music is hard

Simply cant get past the last level of the first game. Tried my best and it just keeps getting old every time I play it.
