The best Digimon game is Cyber Sleuth but this one is very good as well, I highly recommend it. Beating these old villains again is a memory throwback.
Pretty good game, ruined a bit by bad pacing and an annoying combat system.

[GAME REFUNDED] I would just like to preface this review with the fact that Im a big fan of JRPGs and tactical games (mainly SMT, Persona, Fire Emblem, Danganronpa), and I grew up watching the original digimon anime and playing some of the older games (loved world 4 on the ps2). This game caught my attention because it promised to be exactly the type of game I love - story driven, with fun tactical combat and cool characters. Unfortunately tho I just wasnt feeling it. The UI looks like something you'd see on a RPG maker game, looks bland and uninspiring. The story is generic with uninteresting characters which didnt hook me at all in the first few hours, specially since there's pretty much no voice acting for most of the dialogue outside cutscenes. And just as I was about to give this game another go, after playing it for a bit over an hour on my first go, the game just completely stopped working on my PC altogether, it would just refuse to launch. I did some googling and apparently this is a common issue and reinstalling it was my only option to fix it. At that point I threw in the towel, I was already not enjoying my time, and to top it off the game is a buggy mess even after 4 years since its launch? absolutely embarassing. Requested my refund immediately after that. Do NOT recommend.
If you can make it through the exposition its a rewarding game to beat.

전투가 우선 끔찍하게 재미없고, 탐색 파트 시 이동이라던가 미묘하게 불편한 점들이 많음 스토리는 디지몬에서 좀 신선하긴 한데...저 지루함을 참을 정도로 재밌는지는 모르겠어서 12화쯤에서 하차함. 할인 때 싸게 안샀으면 솔직히 많이 후회했을거같음

Digimon Adventure war die Basis meiner Kindheit, aber wenn ich mir jetzt wieder Adventure reinhaue, wirkt es einfach nicht mehr. Jetzt, nachdem man älter geworden ist, findet man sich wahrscheinlich eher bei Survive wieder. Dieses Spiel sollte nicht als das typische Spiel angesehen werden. Die meisten sind auch deshalb so enttäuscht, weil dieses Spiel eher ein Anime mit interaktiven Entscheidungsmöglichkeiten ist. Das ist aus meiner Sicht die krasseste Story, die ich je erlebt habe. Wenn ihr nicht gerne lest, schaut es euch einfach auf YouTube bis zum Ende an – einfach krass. Auf Details gehe ich nicht ein, davon gibt es genug im Internet.
