Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Sep 3 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
This game feels half-baked, a compromise when compared to what I assume was its original vision. I heard it had a troubled development cycle, so that tracks. As a visual novel, it's interesting enough, plus it looks great. But it does suffer from quite a lot of seriously annoying padding and conversations that go in near-endless circles, but there's a lot to like in that department regardless. The characters are interesting, their plights relatable, the lore surrounding this universe of Digimon is also evocative and appealing, having darker sensibilities than what one might expect from the franchise. But the story is frequently desperate to spell out its themes and character development to make sure you get it, often undercutting its own tone. The aforementioned padding also becomes a problem when you realize the characters keep acting in contrived ways in order to save twists for later, even though said twists are beyond obvious and telegraphed multiple times. A particular character keeps evading giving straight answers for flimsy reasons such as "I don't want to make this about me" and "I thought this would just distract you from trying to survive" which gets increasingly nonsensical. The point and click elements can also be a bit grating and boring. But the real problem comes with its other side, the SRPG game: it's quite frankly as barebones as it can possibly be, which wouldn't be that much of a problem if it wasn't soooooo slow, featuring battles that are infuriatingly padded due to taking place in giant empty arenas where each unit, from enemy to ally, has very limited movement, always moving too few tiles at a time. It takes forever for the monsters to reach each other, and when they do it basically comes down to evolving them to whichever level you've unlocked and spamming your best moves until the spongy enemies finally drop dead. There's little to no tactical considerations to be made, almost no way to avoid attacks from your sides or the back, you have plenty of items to help whenever you're running low on hp or sp, it always comes down to how long you're willing to bear it before being rewarded with the story advancing, and even then the characters may repeat themselves and each other multiple times before realizing the obvious and moving on with the plot. It took me 25 hours to reach the Moral route ending, and quite frankly it felt like 40. I'm invested enough to at least consider going for the Truthful route, which is this game's version of a true route you can only access on NG+, but even then I'm not sure I'm willing to tolerate the SRPG elements slowing the whole thing down to a crawl. Even with the skip function on full blast, it took me 20 minutes just to get through the prologue as you still need to do the tutorial battles, and having Mega Digimon that literally one-shot early enemies still doesn't make the feeling of "this battle is just too long" go away. There's much to enjoy here, but it trips over itself constantly and I can't really recommend it to anyone outside die-hard fans of the franchise and preferrebly at a discount at that. It's a shame, I really don't enjoy bashing games and you can see the effort pouring through the final product, but at some point I just gotta admit to myself that I came away from this first playthrough more annoyed than pleased.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I want to give this game a neutral rating, but I can't in good conscience give this a positive rating with some of the glaring flaws it has. There's something good in here, but it is not for everyone. Do note that this game is part visual novel, part TRPG. This is important for my later points, and also it should be noted that, at the time of composing this review, I completed 1 of 4 different possible endings. Things to know before you get into this game that are causing my review to be negative: 1. The combat is very barebones. This would honestly be fine, if it weren't for... 2. The dialogue has a lot of problems. The English translation is not what I'd expect out of a professionally made game. Ironically, this is accentuated by the large amount of voice acting. I'd roughly estimate between 1/3 and 1/2 of the lines are voice acted (that's a lot!) in Japanese. This voice acting highlights the bad translation even to someone like me with very minimal knowledge of Japanese. There's also some lines that are copy-pasted where they should't be--either doubled up or just in the wrong conversation entirely (only 2 or 3 times, but any amount more than 0 is a serious mark against the game). More importantly though, for half of the game (roughly chapter 2 onwards until you reach 3/5 of the way into the game or so) most of the dialogue is VERY repetitive, and a lot of notions, concepts, and worries are just repeated and regurgitated over and over, to the point that I feel like they were expecting this game to be played by people with the memory equivalent of a goldfish (okay, this is hyperbole, but you get the point). This connects with the next point... 3. This game's plot and dialogue feel VERY shounen-coded, if you will. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it's far, far too much so for me, and I have some tolerance for it. Now, that's the major problems out of the way, but if you're still with me, some closing points. I came into this game *wanting* to like it. It was exactly the kind of game I wanted to play, and I was looking forward to a new Digimon game. I got that, and that part I was pleased with. But I have played other games that follow an extremely similar formula that are far better. If you are seriously interested in this game, I would instead strongly suggest you instead check out Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 1 (Overclocked edition) and/or its better half Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 (Record Breaker edition). Only after you've played those, if you just adored them and want something similar, would I then suggest picking this up. It really isn't a terrible game, but the flaws are significant, and I refuse to be the kind of person that, if you'll indulge a bit of me drawing on a meme for illustration, will try to explain to you why it's worth watching One Piece because it gets good after the 500th episode. There are thousands upon thousands of incredible games out there. Play what you enjoy! I think for most people this won't be one of them, but I'm not you.
Early and mid-game sections are good because where else you can expect a "pet" can eat human, but after nearly reaching the end, it feels weird and rushed off (you know, in Chapter 12 on the map Nexus between worlds). Still, it’s a good game because I think this is the first VN I can finish till the end, though only on the MORALroute for now. What I dislike, though, is that I need to play a 2nd playthrough to get the true ending, and maybe all the weirdness in Chapter 12 will be explained. The game has almost fully voiced dialogue, but don’t expect too much from the battles, as they mostly brain-dead tactical combat—except when facing Piedmon. Note that later in mid chapter, the game includes branching choices, so your choices matter. Just remember before buying this game that the main selling point is the story to read—aka visual novel. So, based on my first playthrough, I’d rate it an 7.5/10, and likely I’ll need another day to finish it for the true ending
i like the story, combat is too slow that it feels sluggish that it takes away the momentum from the storytelling to a very noticeable halt. I'd prefer it if they threw away the battle formula as its just a significantly more boring fire emblem with even less movement. while the story is good, i absolutely hate the illusion of choice in the first playthrough, forcing a replay/2nd run. I made the choice to interact with X a lot during the early game because i obviously saw him struggle, so I constantly made sure to check on him and his digimon throughout the first 3 chapters. but nah, mother ♥♥♥♥♥♥ still decides to walk into the 'fog that will probably kill you' after all i did for him. i gave him plenty of love, i gave him so much love that i was basically his mommy, and hes all like 'everyone thinks im deadweight waaah'. and then everyone, EVERYONE was like "we didnt pay enough attention to him" after chapter 3. DUDE ALL I DID IN MY FREE TIME WAS TALK TO HIM. i was trying to give him enough attention to stop him from going crazy. its just so frustrating being given a choice, and that choice not mattering at all, just for the sake of 'alternate endings'. there isnt a double pov bs like cybersleuth or scarlet nexus to give an incentive to replay the game. no, all you get when you probably do NG+ is pressing skip in dialogue, reading a guide on how to play the game for you, and then replaying all the slow ass, boring combat.
THIS IS A VISUAL NOVEL FIRST, AND A DIGIMON GAME SECOND OR THIRD. PLEASE READ. I started this because I'm a fan of digimon to be honest. But the main thing you need to keep in mind is: unless you're REALLY into visual novels, I don't think this is for you as it wasn't for me. My experience with visual novels is pretty limited, my standard is the ace attorney trilogy. And dear god this game is a DRAG compared to that. I spent a whole lot of 2 hours doing what's basically an episode or two of an anime. You have this cursor which snaps to things you can interact with which makes movement feel useless. Even for a visual novel it didn't feel like I was doing as much as I was watching stuff happen. The combat is alright-ish. But again, in 2 hours I got 3 battles and all of them were focused towards teaching a mechanic rather than playing. All in all, if you're really into visual novels and anime in general (episode one was straight up a generic anime plotline. Zero hooks) you should give this a try. On sale. Other than that I can't recommend it in good faith.
's a good visual novel oh and a tactical RPG too I guess... kinda Beware of really, really slow prologue- pacing goes up after the first chapter/approx 2 hours in
98% Novela visual insufrible 2% digimon . Entiendo q son niños, pero tenian q ser tan insufribles? No se puede empatizar, solo quieros tirarlos por un acantilado.
I just finished the wrathful route of Digimon Survive and I have no interest of playing for the "true" ending. The "game" is more 95% visual novel and 5 % gameplay. The writing in the story was targeted for people who eat glue. It's bad. The soundtracks in the game were the same 5 tracks.
In the scene with Aoi dying the soundtrack used was when there was something suspicious going on instead of a tearful track WTF
