Brutal martial combat....

Die by the Blade is a fun game with a cool concept, but it feels like it's missing some key gameplay elements. If you re into fighting games and looking for a fun time, this one might fall a bit flat. The idea of dying with a single hit is awesome and keeps you on your toes, but it needs more variety to keep things interesting. The learning curve is a bit steep, and it took me about half an hour to get the hang of the controls. The build-up is slow, and the game doesn't always deliver the excitement when you need it. As someone with experience in game design, I think it would be great if they added different game modes, like a story mode or tournaments, to mix things up. Also, the price feels a bit high. I think it should be under $10 to make it more appealing. Overall, it's a game for die-hard fans of traditional Japanese one-hit combat, but it could really shine if the devs expanded the scope a bit and tweaked the design. Despite its flaws, I'd recommend this game to anyone who loves intense 1v1 samurai battles. With some updates, it could be a standout game. Cheers to dev!!!
Honestly, i was really looking forward to this game, but alas, it was a massive let down, the combat feels like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ rip off of the uniqueness of bushido blade, and a pathetic attempt to recapture For Honors unique combat, most of the combat is either just mindless attacking, the controls are very clunky and unresponsive, especially parring. i feel like most of my losses are just to blind luck or unresponsive controls, and most of my wins are lucky shots. In honesty.... i hope the devs can turn this game around
Having just completed my first session with Die by the Blade, I can say I really enjoy it. The combat feels authentic and engaging. Excited to see what future updates bring. Pros: - Fair price - Enjoyable and engaging combos Cons: - Long wait time for players to connect
the accelerometer for the stance switching is brilliant high class
