Detective - The Test

It was enjoyable, but extremely short. I completed the entire game with 11/11 achievements in 1 hour. For 10 euros, the length of the game is really bad.

I gave up quickly, and trying to "play" this game was hard. [list] [*]Motion sickness guaranteed [*]No way to change mouse sensitivity in game settings [*]No ultra-wide screen support (everything just stretches out) [*]UI is unintuitive [*]No way to turn off motion blur. [*]Mirrors look outside of the building. [*]Standing near the toilet/drawer causes the player to jump or glitch in a puking motion. [*]Many things are located close to the floor.. and you can not crouch in this game [*]It lags when moving mouse too fast... on 7940HS & RTX4080... [/list] I couldn't really focus on the case because all the distractions made it difficult.

good game but finished the game in just over an hour without rushing. gave me a bit of motion sickness and a headache since there aren't many controls for the graphics. Seems to be a common issue with other games they have. not really worth the price.

представьте себе маленький, но очень симпатичный детектив, состоящий из трёх дел, которые можно неспешно пройти за два часа и вы получите Detective - The Test :) из всех трёх криминальных кейсов, меня по-настоящему зацепил только первый: сюжет, мотив и само преступление - бросающая в холод мерзость. второй это чистый the painscreek killings, только не маленьком городке, а в трейлерном парке. а третий... никакой. лучше бы его и не было мне, как любителю маленьких игр, безумно понравилось, что все истории короткие, лаконичные, не затянутые и в целом в полной мере раскрывающие каждое дело... но одновременно с этим расстроило, что все 3 дела слишком простые и поверхностные. тут процесс дедукции сведён к минимуму, и хоть ты действительно сам всё решаешь - настоящего удовольствия оно не приносит, ведь думать особо и не приходится) ты просто сопоставляешь парочку фактов и фоточек, вводишь базовую информацию о деле в планшетик и всё готово в целом, если хочется ненадолго, а может и впервые почувствовать себя детективом, то эта игра определенно будет отличным выбором. в ней есть своя лёгкая и непринуждённая магия, подходящая для дней, когда хочется отдохнуть и насладиться спокойным расследованием [code][i][b][url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/7391171-Best-Good-Games-%2528rus%2529/]Mortis...[/url][/b][/i][/code]

I'm dissapointed in this game. It's not a bad game, but in advance if you don't want to read my long opinion: it just doesn't worth the money. It hurts to see the potential of the game being wasted. There is 3 crime scenes in the game, they are all very very short and you really don't need to take notes at all. Trust me, I have the brain of a goldfish and even I didn't have to. [spoiler] It's the worst at the third case where you only have to find a phone on the ground that isn't even locked! And you know the whole case. No twists, no secrets. [/spoiler] At some points I had the feeling that even the game doesn't take itself seriously. [spoiler] The husband prints out their photo and writes on it "i hate you you cheated on me". I mean... come on? You really didn't have any other, at least a bit realistic way to make us to find out that it's a cheating situation and the husbad knows about it? [/spoiler] After those moments you only continue walking and investigating because you hope there is more in the story... but no, that's all. [spoiler] For example in tthis exact cheating case. There was the so called genious boy with the mom who has leukemia. It had zero connection with the story sadly, still I liked that there is finally something that's not obvious. My brain started to work immediatelly: why is it so important that the little boy is so mature and called genious, what if he saw something or know about something... but no. Nothing. [/spoiler] And at that point I felt again that there is a huge missed opportunity Again. And the base for the stories were all good. But I'm so sure if a few people sit together just a few times brainstorming they could create a few twisted scenarios by using them soooo easily. Oh and the grading system... why is there A B and C, when you can only get A+? When all your answers are correct you get an A+, if there are mistakes the game let you try again and again, until you got it... and you get an A+. Overall, again, it's not a terrible game. But it clearly lacks in creativity, mystery and twists and the people who look for detective games crave for those things. I really hope the developers won't feel too disheartened after all the negative opinions because as I said I see a lot of potential and if they spend more time with it I'm sure their next game can be really good!

The game isn't terrible.. but the length for the price is not worth it. On top of that, not being able to change the mouse sensitivity had me spending almost 10 minutes just trying not to throw up at how insane it was. Took adjusting. I like the no hand-holding and figuring out what happened yourself, but for three extremely short stories it's just sad. Save your money and wait until it's less than $5 in the future 'cause otherwise it just isn't worth. I love detective/crime games so I was so excited for this to come out.. but so, SO disappointed.

굳이? 돈주고 할 이유를 찾을 수 없음... 이 게임이 만천원이라는 이유를 알 수가 없고 엄,,, 약간 만들다만 게임 느낌이 나고 가격에 비해 재미없음 이정도는 아니였어야함 뭐,,, 문제 해석도 없음 그냥 내가 하는 그게 정답임;; ㅅㅂ 오히려 3단계가 제일 쉬움 근데 너무 쉬워서 그게 정답이 아니라고 의심했음 설마해서 제출했는데 그게 정답임 말안댐 번역도 개구림 챗지피티가 알려줘서 해결함 번역때문에 한번 막혔었음 그래서 언어 다시 영어로 바꾸고 뜻 이해하고 풀었음 총평 : ⭐⭐ 살사람은 사서 해도됌 근데 이돈 주고 좋은 퀄리티에 추리겜 할 수 있어서 굳이? 싶긴함 그냥 더 재밌는거 돈 주고 사셈

I enjoyed this game alot it was fun trying to find out stuff

O jogo anterior eu critiquei por um bug que estragou a experiência, agora volto aqui para elogiar esse segundo, tanto pela jogabilidade quanto pelas histórias. Continua sendo um jogo fácil de jogar, requer quebrar a cabeça um pouco mas nada muito extremo que te faça ficar empacado no desenrolar dos casos. As histórias dos casos se desenvolvem de forma que realmente tem que se usar de dedução, nem tudo está tão aparente, assim como diz na descrição do jogo aqui na Steam. é A+
