C'était court et plutôt facile mais j'ai passé un agréable moment. Rapport qualité/prix c'est quand même cher ... à vous de voir ;)
Probably the best by version of their detective series by this dev. If they keep it up and add quality of life, like crouching, an in game notepad etc, they will be on par with "casefiles".
Valeu demais a gameplay.
Detective – The Test, developed by k148 Game Studio and published by JanduSoft, is a first-person investigative experience that attempts to strip the detective genre down to its bare essentials. Rather than delivering cinematic storytelling, dramatic cutscenes, or guided clue systems, the game challenges players to rely entirely on their own observation and logical reasoning. The premise is simple: you are presented with a crime scene, and your task is to explore, gather information, and ultimately answer a set of key questions about what transpired. There are no glowing markers, no overt hint systems, and very little narrative handholding. The game positions itself as a true test of deductive skill, aiming to recreate the sensation of independently piecing together a case. The structure revolves around three separate cases, each set in a distinct location with its own context and clues. These environments, which include spaces like private residences and small public establishments, are designed to be fully explorable in first-person perspective. Players move through the environment examining objects, reading notes, and interpreting environmental details to build a mental picture of events. Rather than collecting items into an inventory or solving traditional puzzles, progression hinges on careful observation and inference. Once you feel confident in your conclusions, you must answer direct questions about the crime, such as identifying the perpetrator or determining the sequence of events. This minimalist design philosophy is both the game’s defining feature and its most divisive aspect. On one hand, the absence of guidance creates a sense of autonomy rarely seen in detective games. You are not nudged toward answers or steered through a scripted chain of revelations. Every conclusion feels earned because it comes from your own reasoning rather than from following objective markers. On the other hand, this same lack of structure can make the experience feel sparse. With limited feedback or contextual reinforcement, some players may find it difficult to discern whether they are overlooking key details or whether the environment itself lacks sufficient information. Presentation in Detective – The Test is modest. The environments are functional rather than atmospheric, with relatively simple textures and straightforward layouts. There is little in the way of dramatic lighting or cinematic staging to heighten tension. The focus remains squarely on the mechanics of exploration and deduction. While this simplicity ensures clarity when scanning rooms for clues, it can also leave the experience feeling somewhat bare compared to more polished mystery adventures. The user interface follows a similarly minimal approach, providing only the essentials needed to navigate and submit your conclusions. Narratively, the cases operate independently of one another, with no overarching storyline or character arc connecting them. Each scenario stands alone as a contained mystery. This episodic design keeps the experience concise but limits emotional investment. There is little development of a central detective persona or recurring cast, which means the primary satisfaction comes from solving the puzzle itself rather than from advancing a broader narrative. For players who value tightly woven story arcs and character progression, this structural choice may feel underwhelming. The game’s brevity is another defining characteristic. Each case can be completed relatively quickly once the player has gathered and interpreted the necessary information. While this compact runtime ensures that the game does not overextend its premise, it also highlights the limited scope of its content. There is minimal replay value beyond revisiting cases to refine understanding or test alternative hypotheses. The experience is focused and contained, offering a handful of challenges rather than an expansive detective saga. Ultimately, Detective – The Test is an experiment in pure deduction. It removes many of the genre’s narrative and mechanical embellishments to concentrate on observation and logical reasoning. For players who enjoy solitary puzzle-solving and appreciate being left entirely to their own devices, this approach can feel refreshingly uncompromising. However, those seeking immersive storytelling, dynamic character interactions, or intricate investigative systems may find the execution too stripped down. As a concise, logic-driven experience, it succeeds in delivering exactly what its title suggests—a test of your ability to think like a detective—though its simplicity may limit its broader appeal.
