DETECTIVE - The Motel

This game had so much potential and just fell flat. There were so many rooms and shelves and cabinets that were all empty and non-interactive. The language translation was off a bit so there were some confusing clues. I would have loved to see so much more interaction! Also, crouching ability, inventory, and a way to document things would be nice.

The game is a great idea, but you may as well just play Scene Investigators. Problem is, it still has a lot of typos to be fixed, especially in Irene's room. The ending was super underwhelming. Bit of a waste of time and money

Had fun playing this one. Mind you this is a time-boxed game, at the end you'll get a rank based on how quickly you solved the case. Few inputs: - Would be nice to be able to crouch and have a minimalist inventory system, just to show current items. - Nice idea with the lack of notes in-game, however it would be cool to have a way to write your own notes, like an in-game notepad. - I enjoyed the puzzles, they seem varied and don't follow an obvious pattern. - Story could be improved? A bit more background around the narrative. - Music is immersive and fits the theme very well. - UI for the settings is a bit confusing, not sure when something is selected or not (not a deal breaker but it could definitely be improved). - Game runs smooth and is not buggy. Good luck to future players and GREAT job for the developer of this game, you've made a detective game I really enjoyed playing!

Le jeu n'est pas mauvais mais un peu dur de prise ne main lorsque l'on a l'habitude de se déplacer avec la souris plutôt que les flèches. Le principal défaut est qu'il n'y a que peu d'inter actions et que l'on peut rester bloquer dans l'intrigue. A ce moment, on comprend que le seul moyen de "résoudre" l'affaire est de remplir au hasard son journal et "soumettre" ses hypothèses jusqu'à avoir les 15 bonnes réponses. C'est vraiment dommage comme fin.

Tinha tudo para ser um bom jogo exceto pelo fato de em algum momento ter bugado e não ter aparecido a chave no quarto 05 pra mim, além de ter feito as escolhas corretas e o jogo dizer que estavam erradas e não encerrava. Tive que começar um novo para poder finalmente finalizar com A+.

Good detective game!! I recommend trying it if you like the genre. Pros: -realistic scenario. -evidence searching en event-reconstruction. -good feedback of results. -runs also under linux (with limitations). Cons: -Under linux with proton it worked with proton 7, but movement-speed was reduced, but doable with the running key (shift). Also achievements do not work well under linux, but thats not a big deal to me. -pointing-dot is very little, could be somewhat bigger.
