Desecration of Wings

Instructions unclear. Am I supposed to cry when I read some of the sex scenes?

Now this is what I wanted! I left a less than favorable review for Ouroboros. I felt that while separately the mechanics, the game play and the adult material worked well, when all put together the game was kind of a mess. It felt as though the game was designed separate pieces and little thought went into how it was all going to come together. I thankfully don't get that feeling at all from Desecration of Wings. Desecration of Wings has a surprisingly deep plot, dealing with heavy subject matter such as subjugation and racism. The game doesn't tip-toe around it, and by the end of the game you end up having to make some difficult choices on not only how to save the world, but how the lives of everyone should be handled from then on. Unfortunately this plot element doesn't really come into focus until the very end of the game, but even nodding to the intrinsic difficulties of what it means to create a new world order is appreciated. The game play is what I found to be the most enjoyable. Unlike Ouroborus, the game play and the mechanics of the game aren't at odds with each other. It is still your typical turn-based affair, but it is surprisingly in-depth. Enemies have weaknesses that need to be exploited, you need to to debuff enemies, and buff your allies, etc. All can be easily done with a rather comprehensive list of skills - most of which is learned by equipment. You learn the skill permanently by using said equipment in battle until you have mastered the skill via TP. Your characters have a limited amount of skills that can be equipped at any given time meaning you'll eventually be forced to pick and choose what skills you want allowing a fair amount of customization, especially for an RPGMaker title. Each character does fall into an archetype that you won't really be able to, or desire, to stray far from, but what skills they can use can still be heavily customized. The presentation is pretty standard fair. Very little in the way of unique assets from your standard RPGMaker fair, which is admittedly a little disappointing. However, what is unique is the character artwork and the adult scenes and smut, which are mostly pretty good. It appears as though at least a couple of artists were responsible for the adult scenes, and unfortunately it shows. Suffice it to say not all scenes are created with the same level of skill and it can be a bit jarring at times. The main characters artwork is top notch, but a lot of the artwork that involves secondary characters are often questionable in quality. The erotica, on the other hand, is great as usual. As one would would expect from a Sierra Lee title. All in all, I really enjoyed Desecration of Wings and think it is the best of Sierra Lee's games to date (considering I won't judge The Last Sovereign until the game is one day completed.) The game play, the general presentation, and the adult material work together to make the game a better experience over all, and is well worth checking out if you are at all a fan of this type of experience.

A "working woman" sets out on a journey in the world that hates her profession more than all of us hate gaming "journalists"... and by her profession i mean being a historian lol Why a historian? Well, imagine you lived in russia. Imagine everyone around you was praising how great your leaders are and "always were". You are the only person who knows about their many failures during this era and all the previous eras. People get jailed for mentioning that T-34 was a ♥♥♥♥ tank and you have esoteric knowledge about how many families and cities were ruined during their "great conquests" that are leading to your destruction... well, this is that but add fantasy weirdness and the fact that everyone is repeating the mistakes of several utterly destroyed civilizations of the past. Did i mention that you play as a prostitute? Well, this is a hentai game. Unlike most original englsh language hentai game it isn't ♥♥♥♥! Apparently, Sierra Lee is famous for those but i didn't know about him before. This is the first game of his on steam. It requires a patch from his website to unlock... a lot of the game. The sex scenes aren't anything special - a lot of prostitution, some tentacles, lesbians and one futa. The dev seems to like tits a lot - there are many titjobs and ladies generally are on the bigger side. Not my thing honestly - mostly was interested in the story parts of the sex scenes. Why are they ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, who are they ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, how it changes them and what it shows about them. The game doesn't glorify prostitution and tell you that being an OF hoe is gonna give you billions, but it is pretty respectful to the proffession. Also, the game has... unusual love relationships. One character ends up with a tentacle monster - consensually, one ends up with a futa in a semi-lesbian(?) relationship. As for gameplay - it is also pretty damn good. I rarely want to 100% a game, but this one has a certain "flow" that makes me want to do that. I'm not sure how the dev achieved it, but i think that enemies being avoidable is a big plus - one thing that annoys a lot in rpgmaker games is how all fights are utterly random, but here you can see enemies inside dungeons. Only on the overmap are they invisible and happen randomly - but you very quickly get an airship. Yup, a thing you usually get at the end is basically given to you in what i would call chapter 2, giving a lot of freedom to explore as well as incentive to explore. There is a weird system where you can only unlock skills by having items equipped on you for a certain number of fights. Leveling up gives you bonus to stats, but you need equipment to gain stats. It takes time getting used to it but it's not that bad. As for the story, well it's hard not to spoil many things. You live in a world ruled over by 'immortals' who destroy and hide the history of the world while plotting against one another and actively making the world worse. Due to their stupidity and your historical work, you soon get thrown into a giant conflict that will change the world forever. Sounds generic? Oh trust me - it isn't. I still shudder at a few unanswered questions of the true ending... 10/10 - would bang an eldritch abomination again

Sierra Lee does it again. When I first played this game I didn't feel it too tough. But then I decided to circle back because I love her other work and damn it this is good. The relationship between the mother and daughter is enjoyable, it feels like the relationships women I've been with have had with their mothers (minus the prostitution). This feels real and I'm having fun with the interactions, the subtle classist and racist elements. This woman's games always say something important and I'm glad this one is no exception.

From what I've played so far it has an awesome story. Controls are intuitive and adaptable.

This Sierra Lee game started off as a slower burner for me, but I'm really glad I kept with it. The story that unfolds is interesting, well written, and more compelling than many non 18+ titles. Your main character is a sex worker, and I was pleased to see that her job and her attitude towards sex is not a point of mockery. There are some rude NPCs here and there, but she is not framed as a bad person for being a sex worker. And her relationship with her daughter is refreshing. It felt so real seeing her daughter come to terms with what was happening around her. I was slightly worried there was going to be an [spoiler] incest scene [/spoiler] but this trope is [spoiler] somewhat [/spoiler] averted. The art style is subjective, from reviews it seems some like it and some don't. If you've patched in the adult content, I would say this title delivers. Even if the art style doesn't personally appeal to you, the writing that accompanies it is excellent. The game won't necessarily suffer without this content however if you choose to play without it. There is a character introduced, a woman [spoiler] with a penis. I didn't come across any transphobic content around this, which was also a relief! She features in some 18+ scenes. There are also some 18+ monster scenes, which weren't for me at all personally. But you can easily click through scenes you're not interested in. [/spoiler] I played Desecration of Wings on my Steam Deck with no real issues. I did have music stop for some reason, and you will need to find a workaround to patch the Steam Deck version properly: [spoiler] I just copy and pasted an already patched version of the 'Desecration of Wings' game folder in the one on the Steam Deck. To find where these files are located, just right click on the game in your library and choose to 'browse local files'. [/spoiler] There are many hidden secrets within this game, and don't feel shy about consulting the fan wiki if you want to find them all. My only qualms about this game are the slow start and the even slower end. At the start of the game, you're very weak and combat can feel punishing until you level up enough. Throughout the game, you won't have a ton of money on hand to buy new gear. Endgame throws a lot of high HP enemies at you, which can get a little tedious. This goes against the dev's intentions, but you can use a save editor to speed things up if you're stuck: [spoiler] Search for Froggus RPG Maker save editor, be aware the website you get it from is NSFW. The tool lets you edit stats for individual characters, and increase item amounts. Saves a lot of time on hunting for Contorted Stones in the late game! [/spoiler] Overall, this SL title is as strong as her other titles, but might take a bit of time to open up at the start. If you're after an 18+ game that's written with the eloquence of a novel, check this one out. If you just want pretty 18+ pictures, play Third Crisis. If you're a true man of culture though, play both :)

УГ. Крохотное окошко 400 на 400 которое невозможно растянуть. Не поддерживается мышка. Медленная унылая боёвка, в которой всё сводится к спаму способностями, но игра не запоминает последний использованный приём и приходится каждый раз выбирать заново, а это по ~пять раз на моба. Странный сюжет, в котором ГГ работает проституткой чтобы кормить дочь, а дочь её за это критикует. При том что дочка уже в том возрасте когда ей и самой в борделе работать пора, а не критиковать мать за то что та содержит тунеядку.
