The story is pretty logical. Works fine on Ubuntu 16.04+Proton 4.11-8 in window mode. Notebook with Intel® HD Graphics 4400 is more then enough. Occasionally game crashes so save often, autosave also helps. Не без дыр в сюжете особенно с учётом фантазийности, но хотя бы часть типичных дикостей и несуразностей здесь замечается, объясняется или отвергается. Да, это эроге и тема секса центральная, но это не фан сервис и эта тема встроена в сюжет, а не болтается где-то сбоку. Местная цивилизация бы гарантированно сдохла, если бы главная героиня не была бы тем, кем она является. Не смейтесь: передовым работником секс индустрии для поддержания штанов и [i]настоящим[/i] учёным-историком (да, я считаю историю наукой, особенно в области обработки источников) в своё [i]свободное[/i] от основной работы время. Не от хорошей жизни конечно, но всё равно звучит как-то диковато и маловероятно, но так же в этом мире был маловероятным и шанс избежать геноцида, потому и потребовалось такое рациональное и умное чудо. [h1]JRPG[/h1] Она тут есть и если вас не корёжит от игрового движка RPG Maker (эту идиосинкразию можно попытаться вылечить, например, с помощью [url=https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198084019881/recommended/206440]To the Moon[/url]), то вполне можно получить удовольствие и от этого аспекта. Боёвка несколько выходит за рамки стандартных шаблонов JRPG, так как приёмы и пассивные способности приносится вместе с экипировкой и должны быть натренированы перед использованием, причём тренироваться можно в буквальном смысле «на мышах». Следствием этого является постоянная оптимизация экипировки и навыков с целью подобрать наиболее удачную их комбинацию буквально до самых титров. Для получения истинной концовки придётся умеренно гриндить, так как финальные боссы весьма и весьма высокоуровневые, но для просто завершения игры гринд можно свести к минимуму, на что намекает достижение вида «меньше 20 уровня на конец игры», притом, что в моём случае этих самых уровней было 70+. Sierra Lee's usual: great writing with solid world building and intrigue, sex positive dialogue, and femme-focused lewd scenes. Some drawbacks though as scenes tend to just pop up out of nowhere and the RPG Maker music and overall audio design doesn't do much for the ambiance. Art is just OK and is inconsistent in style, made worse by the limited RPG Maker framing. The character interactions and plot really are where it's at. Very basic RPG progression and game-play but with most mobs being avoidable, it does a good job of managing a good pace by serving up a handful of challenging but engaging optional boss fights. Nonetheless, at about 3 hours in, lots of combat feels a bit cheesy by modern standards but quite strong in the realm of the typical RPG Maker H-game. Level design is very straightforward but enough twists for neuron activation. Approach to the endgame felt a bit sudden with a slurry of scattered H-scenes and intimidating optional dungeons but the final mission (for the normal ending anyway) ended up being pretty satisfying with the rare situation of being certain that the party was completely outclassed by the final boss and yet squeaking out a win by using up all those nifty items I'd been saving. Worth it.

Like all of Sierra Lee's games, this has an awesome story and engaging gameplay. If you enjoy this game and others like it, definitely check out the rest of her games, particularly The Last Sovereign. You won't be disappointed.

Good game and great story. Yes, mainly played this for the story, although the adult content (with the patch) is a nice bonus I enjoyed. Its nice having a game acknowledge that both me and the characters are adults and explore how sex can be tastefully worked into the story. As one who’s played many RPGs I wasn’t surprised that the party needed to save the world by the end, but it was very refreshing HOW that went about it and not one I’d seen before. Gameplay wise, its ok. Its an RPG Maker game, good one mind you, but still an RPG Maker game and plays like one. Does what it needs with nothing too bothersome or annoying while going between story bits. Would rank this between Ouroboros and The Last Sovereign for the other Sierra Lee games I’ve played, with The Last Sovereign being on top. But recommend all three.

An excellent game. I've played a large number of adult RPGmaker games, and this one's at the top of the list, matched only by the other game by the same dev, The Last Sovereign. In both cases, what stands out is the writing; the sex never feels shoehorned in or forced, and the characters all feel real. Absolutely worth getting, even at full price. I could go on about this game, too, but other reviews have done that. In short, the systems work well, there's minimal grind required (though you can do more to get cool powers) and lots of nice lewd moments. The primary protagonist being a sex worker is a good excuse for fun to happen in many places you go, and the money you make from it is meaningful. Relationships develop, characters grow a LOT as people, and the world undergoes massive and dramatic changes. Even without the lewd, it would be a good play~ Definitely recommend!

Everyone who enjoys mature RPGs (meaning both adult content and grown-up characters who act in a reasonable way) will do well to play all of Sierra Lee's catalogue.

For me there are many things gone wrong with this product: a) the art...everyone has a different taste, this is just not my taste! Example: a town..3 buildings you can't enter any of them; a vendor standing near a barrel and the 3rd NPC standing around is the INN....with other words this world looks DEAD!!! b) grinding...don't get me wrong, a certain amount of grinding is OK, but if your party gets constantly ambushed it is no fun anymore. c) doubtful decision regarding skills. This is another of those games were you only can equip a few of your skills. d) the H-content. Your main character is against prostitution....and the next moment she makes a sandwich with 2 other party members (she is the beacon in this sandwich).

More of Sierra Lee's wonderful stuff; people talking about their feelings, working for positive change in the world, and having healthy (and various) relationships with sex. All charmingly well-written. (My playtime is only so short because the game doesn't run thru Steam normally on Pop!_OS; I had to use Wine on the actual 'game.exe' file, which Steam doesn't track.)

Now this is what I wanted! I left a less than favorable review for Ouroboros. I felt that while separately the mechanics, the game play and the adult material worked well, when all put together the game was kind of a mess. It felt as though the game was designed separate pieces and little thought went into how it was all going to come together. I thankfully don't get that feeling at all from Desecration of Wings. Desecration of Wings has a surprisingly deep plot, dealing with heavy subject matter such as subjugation and racism. The game doesn't tip-toe around it, and by the end of the game you end up having to make some difficult choices on not only how to save the world, but how the lives of everyone should be handled from then on. Unfortunately this plot element doesn't really come into focus until the very end of the game, but even nodding to the intrinsic difficulties of what it means to create a new world order is appreciated. The game play is what I found to be the most enjoyable. Unlike Ouroborus, the game play and the mechanics of the game aren't at odds with each other. It is still your typical turn-based affair, but it is surprisingly in-depth. Enemies have weaknesses that need to be exploited, you need to to debuff enemies, and buff your allies, etc. All can be easily done with a rather comprehensive list of skills - most of which is learned by equipment. You learn the skill permanently by using said equipment in battle until you have mastered the skill via TP. Your characters have a limited amount of skills that can be equipped at any given time meaning you'll eventually be forced to pick and choose what skills you want allowing a fair amount of customization, especially for an RPGMaker title. Each character does fall into an archetype that you won't really be able to, or desire, to stray far from, but what skills they can use can still be heavily customized. The presentation is pretty standard fair. Very little in the way of unique assets from your standard RPGMaker fair, which is admittedly a little disappointing. However, what is unique is the character artwork and the adult scenes and smut, which are mostly pretty good. It appears as though at least a couple of artists were responsible for the adult scenes, and unfortunately it shows. Suffice it to say not all scenes are created with the same level of skill and it can be a bit jarring at times. The main characters artwork is top notch, but a lot of the artwork that involves secondary characters are often questionable in quality. The erotica, on the other hand, is great as usual. As one would would expect from a Sierra Lee title. All in all, I really enjoyed Desecration of Wings and think it is the best of Sierra Lee's games to date (considering I won't judge The Last Sovereign until the game is one day completed.) The game play, the general presentation, and the adult material work together to make the game a better experience over all, and is well worth checking out if you are at all a fan of this type of experience.
