Depixtion

Love this game. I play it on the Steam Deck and it's a super chill way to wind down before bed or just vibe. There's a slight learning curve if you're coming from other nonogram games/apps which, in my experience, have always been 5x5 grids, because Depixtion's grids are multiples of 4 but you adjust pretty quickly and it's totally worth it to have more "levels" of difficulty (4x4, 8x8, 12x12, 16x16, 20x20, 24x24) without having to make the grid as massive.If it's on sale, I absolutely recommend getting it, and even if it's not, you should at least consider it.

[i]Depixtion[/i] is yet another stellar entry in Steam’s ever-growing list of Picross-style games, one that stands out with its unique visuals and puzzle structures. For anyone looking for more thoughtful puzzles of this sort to go through, this is one of the better options available on Steam right now. [i]Depixtion[/i] requires an adjustment compared to other nonogram puzzle games; the grid is split up by 4 instead of by 5, and the nature of using two different colors within a single image changes how one approaches putting a line onto the grid. Where some may find that off-putting, however, I found these changes to be refreshing in how they forced me to look at the board in a new light each and every time I sat down to do a puzzle. It kept me on my toes all throughout. While some snags come along the way - a couple puzzles toward the middle are somewhat grindy, and some puzzles accidentally leave you with the wrong solution because the labelled numbers give you a different solution than is intended - this game is still a total delight. I’d be happy to see more puzzles come along for this, whether that be through workshop support, an update, or another DLC pack. I was definitely itching to go through more puzzles even after the dozens that I’d already gone through - something that’s always a sign of a truly enjoyable video game experience. 9.0/10

Don't have much to say. What you see is what you get. The three-layered design is very enjoyable and I liked seeing my pictures come together in the end. Though, if i could, I would turn the speed of the picture being 'drawn' after I finish the puzzle down just a bit.

3 layers of fun. Logic never gets too complex, picture results are interesting. I plan to buy any additional DLC as soon as it is available.

Really good concept, but I wish there was more levels to it. I don't know if I'll buy the dlc, but I still loved the game!

erg leuk spel. door de dubbele kleuren zit er meer uitdaging in. de levels verder op het spel worden ook zeker moeilijker en moeilijker waardoor het leuk blijft!

One of the most challenging nonogram games ever! While some of the images are a little difficult to see, the twist of having 2 shades of each of the three colors really works your logic muscles. The simple presentation hides the satisfying beast beneath!
