Clever enough to feel smart, chill enough to never rage quit.
Square Logic delivers a clean, no-fuss puzzle experience that focuses on clarity, comfort, and sheer volume. With 200 logic grids to solve, it’s a great choice for players who enjoy structured deduction without unnecessary complexity. Each level presents a simple objective: use the provided number clues to figure out which squares are correct. The tutorial introduces the rules quickly, and from there, you're free to puzzle away at your own pace. The minimalist visuals are easy on the eyes, especially with dark mode and color options available right from the start. It also autosaves, so you can step away anytime and return without losing progress. The puzzles are consistent in quality and become gently more involved as you go, but the difficulty remains low overall, even with the error guide disabled. This might not satisfy hardcore puzzlers, but it’s excellent for casual play or winding down. I cleared the entire game in 4h20, and despite the repetition, it stayed pleasant throughout thanks to the simple UI and relaxing background music. There's not much variety in mechanics, but what’s here is well executed and feels polished. If you’re looking for a calm and approachable logic game that values function over flash, this one’s easy to recommend. Solid content, fair price, smooth delivery. リラックスしてプレイできる良作パズル。
Decent and fun but gets tedious pretty fast - I never felt like the difficulty increases past maybe a few select levels.
A must-have for Shikaku fans! I love Shikaku! Since the gameplay (also known as Number Area or Divide by Box) is based on logically dividing the grid into rectangles and squares, Square Logic hits the nail on the head. It is the perfect digital implementation of the Nikoli classic. The game offers 200 levels with a nice steady increase in difficulty. Sometimes it takes a moment to find the right trick, but for me, all puzzles were solvable without a guide – with a bit of thinking, you almost always find the solution. I particularly enjoyed the clean and minimalist design, which doesn't distract you from the essentials. The controls are intuitive, allowing you to focus entirely on the logic. It's the ideal game to unwind to after a long day with some quiet music. I completed the game in 5 hours. You can certainly do it a bit faster or take a bit longer, depending on how quickly you recognize the logic behind the patterns. At €2.99, I find the price absolutely cheap and fair. Shikaku games are simply incredible fun and really challenge your brain cells. Verdict: I give the game a solid 8 out of 10. A total recommendation for all puzzle fans! P.S.: If anyone knows of other good Shikaku games, please let me know!
Very chill shikaku game. The puzzles were well designed though somewhat easy (Only #45 of 7x7 took me longer). I wish there were more puzzles. Maybe we'll see another games, who knows? For the dev: If you ever decide for a second game, I suggest to add difficulty spikes for every part (5x5, 7x7, etc.) so the later puzzles in each section would be a little harder. I believe puzzle-lovers would appreciate that.
Works perfectly on the steamdeck ⭐
This is a fun and relaxing game. I can clear my head and solve the puzzle, then go to the next one. Worth the money :)
