Jogo antigo nostálgico...
My favorite childhood game. I used to play this with my dad a lot back in the day. Worth the price to relive that peaceful piece of childhood.
Really good nostalgic game! Even tough its pretty old, the graphics, gameplay and story is still so fun! (Also made it run in 1024x768 resulution quality with 1920x1080p fullscreen resulution with 60 fps) Nagyon jó nosztalgikus játék!
An older game with well thought out goals and large landscapes allowing you to go off mission to achieve the objective. When you explore the landscape you may well come across some surprises.
It's okay Delta Force game and it works on Linux.
What is this? Another taxpayer-funded safari?
Delta Force game series stepped into 2000's way better than I expected - from what I know, they were always behind when it comes to graphics - I mean, can you compare first game to games that were coming out that time? 1998?! Launching this one I was expecting same pixel-hunting voxel-jumping game. Well, I wasn't dissapointed, but the graphics did improve, as well as gameplay itself. It was actually fun. With this game developers try to go a bit future/experimental when it comes to weapons - that being, your arsenal has changed, and your operations are rather agressive.
Pros:
-Better graphics, comparing to previous titles. I can still see voxels on mountains, yet it's soothen down so well you barely notice -Finally ACTUALLY new weapons - my god, we stepped right into that weird era of Future Guns that never made it. OICW? Jackhammer? G33? My god that was fun time... -Now they introduced characters. They have specialties and perks, I guess. -Dungeons. Yeah, developers started flexing on that. From pyramids to bunkers to... bunkers... ehm... Well, still cool. -Short and actually quick missions. Beated them in 2 hours, had a lot of fun. Unlike DF2. But I know, what's more interesting.
Cons:
-Sprite weapons. They've updated everything but weapons. I think in previous titles they were rather models, but now they're just stickers. Lovely. -No map on briefing. Just why? How do I prepare for the mission? It gives you sniper rifle to a bunker assault and you won't know it. -AI is relatively dumb. They still get stuck or die off or actually do nothing THE ENTIRE OPERATION, and now they give you ONE ally to the mission. I'm yet to see a successful operation. -In last missions the enemies just shoot through the fog. You're the one blind in there. Lovely ambush. -WHO PICKED THE SOUND FOR UMP-45?! IT SOUNDS LIKE A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ AA-GUN! Overall, it was enjoyable experience, and much shorter, comparing to previous titles, to get annoyed at. Pros and cons, but overall I liked the improvement and the game is over before I got really tired of it. Should've named this one Delta Force 2, really.
Take those sunglasses off, soldier! If Delta wants to wear Oakleys - that's their business. I don't wanna see them on you again. Hoo-ah? 5/10
My go to shooter from 2004! For future reference I used this sources to make it playable in 2025: https://www.reddit.com/r/deltaforce/comments/1iz3qsy/delta_force_classic_games_anyone_having_graphical/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6BzHqtrwdRw https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Pr7_RQY-MO2H7zt5FD2-ydnk9FCfddsU/view?pli=1 (Extract to desktop, copy all the files to Delta Force game folder in steam) For streaming on OBS to twitch, I used these settings: https://imgur.com/a/mx5K1le
