I am very glad this got a PC release. I genuinely cant believe it, and it was released so quickly after being promised! Christmas came early :) Yes, this is an android game, but damn its so fun. Played for dozens of hours on my commutes, and im very glad i can completely fail to make a functioning network on PC as well as my phone now! The game works well and doesnt suffer from performance issues. The game could use some hotkey mapping, it is currently a mouse-only game. But other than that, thank you for releasing this! I highly recommend you pick this up, and just enjoy some simple train track building. This game is as complex as you want to make it, and it even comes with a built in guide to show you what you could be building!
Railroads 2 has been one of my all time favourite mobile phone games. The introduction of a PC version along with the reworked UI and aesthetics adds a layer of satisfaction. Some of the levels get pretty challenging and it is fun trying to plan ahead, specially on crowded maps which required multiple trains and crisscrossing tracks. The strategies and game elements like gradients, signalling and routing are well documented on the developer's website. Overall a good game which I like to revisit every now and then.
Waiting so much for the 3rd part, keep going!!!
This game should come with a disclaimer that it is aimed at children. It lacks the complexity of other railroad tycoon games. I just couldn't get into it, sorry.
Rail track drawing tools can be diversified. You can add like “drawing straight way”, “make curves more circular” and “staggered way length” options (like a Cities Skylines game). I want my railway networks to look smoother and beautiful. It's so nice to be able to play my favorite mobile game on desktop without emulators and without any problems :D
Fun game that I played on Mobile first, much easier to play with kbm than on a touchscreen.
This game is quite addictive in its simplicity yet difficulty. you set up lines to deliver stuff according to tasks with increasing complexity. No time constraints that I have met so far which is a change from many rail games. Good tutorial and help info. Pretty much mouse only is my only quibble; would like a few keyboard shortcuts. Not found any bugs!
This game was made for a touch screen. It is not great on a computer.
Great game!
