Tat45's Steam Deck verdict: Playable - minor control issue: weapon switch seems to also reorient character
The game has broken completely twice in the two hours I've played it, once by continually spawning me outside the bounds of the level, and once by not allowing me to switch to flare mode, a necessary feature for the part of the game I'm at. Don't buy it, it's not worth even a dollar.
A wonderful game. The ambience is what really sells it - this game can have you terrified, curious, and calm all at the same time. The sounds are incredible. If you like games like Abzu I think you'll like this one too - although Debris has guns and a slightly longer playtime. But just like Abzu, swimming around and discovering stuff is fun. Not just the ambience, but the story is very nice too. My one big complaint so far is that your AI companion is a little janky. At times they can get stuck until you call for them, or start swimming off even when there's more debris (very important resource) to collect. Also, there have been a few times where voice-overs have been cut off by accident - but it's never been horrible.
its a fun game over all A+
the game is amazing playing with a friend, i dont know about solo going but highly recommended with a friend
Great story and voice acting, terrible gameplay, controls, graphics, environments, mechanics, etc. I enjoy a good walking simulator, hell, firewatch is my favorite game, but the gameplay and controls in this fail to draw you in and the incredibly slow pacing makes everything you do a chore. Just go watch a let's play on this and save your money. It's a shame every underwater horror game is either awful or amazing.Go play Subnautica, SOMA, and Narcosis if you want to fill that underwater horror shaped hole.
Very entertaining game
Great voice acting and great story. However, the gameplay is rather simple and dull. But overall it's still a few hours fun.
Don't play this high
