Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
From legendary game creator Hideo Kojima comes an emotionally charged evolution of this genre-defying experience. In bringing this title to PC, KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS worked with Nixxes Software to deliver the definitive version of the critically acclaimed console release.
In the expansive open world of DEATH STRANDING 2: ON THE BEACH, countless areas with vastly different terrains and environments are seamlessly connected, and the changing time, weather and nature itself provide a variety of landscapes and challenges.
There are various obstacles that will prevent Sam from completing his mission. Face them head-on, sneak around, or completely avoid dangerous areas. Choose your approach to any situation.
Eleven months after the events of the original DEATH STRANDING, rejoin Sam and his companions on a new journey to save humanity from extinction and discover the answer to this haunting question: Should we have connected?
Join Sam for the next chapter of his journey as he attempts to connect Australia to the Chiral Network. Navigate a living environment through day and night cycles, natural disasters – including earthquakes, sandstorms and forest fires – and Timefall, a rain that instantly ages everything it touches.
To traverse this dangerous landscape, you’ll need to build new types of infrastructure, master specialized equipment and confront (or evade) the otherworldly creatures that roam the fractured world.
Face enigmatic Mech soldiers, as-yet unseen BTs and new boss types that will push Sam to his limits. As you prepare for each journey, you’ll be able to fabricate weapons like machine guns, shotguns and grenade launchers to deal with threats. Or, choose to avoid confrontation altogether with stealth – using decoy holograms, silent takedowns and long-ranged gear.
Through APAS enhancements, Sam can learn new skills that will improve his odds of survival, like enhanced weapon fire-rates or reduced movement noise to help him stay hidden.
The iconic Social Strand System of DEATH STRANDING returns to encourage asynchronous connection across the globe. Your in-game actions affect how other players interact with the world and vice-versa – so connect, collaborate and help your fellow Porters on their journeys.
Leave a “Like” on a useful bridge, donate resources to community projects, store field ware in shared lockers and finish incomplete deliveries as you stumble upon dropped cargo from other Porters. As you support other players on their journeys, your own reputation will grow, giving you access to valuable resources and new gear.
Full integration with NVIDIA’s DLSS, AMD’s FSR and Intel’s XeSS and upscaling and frame generation technologies, allowing you to reach higher output resolutions; enjoy crisp, high-fidelity visuals as you navigate and explore an expansive and unpredictable open world.¹
Benefit from the option of higher framerates as well as tailored graphic settings, for a wide range of hardware – supporting every delivery with solid performance.¹
Witness even more of this incredible world with panoramic, super-ultrawide (32:9) support for gameplay, with standard ultrawide (21:9) support for in-game cut scenes.²
Take control with full mouse and keyboard support to suit your play style. Personalize your gameplay further by mapping custom keybinds.

Это не просто игра, а шедевр, который передает массу чувств и эмоций. Прошел обе части и могу сказать, что Кодзима просто Гений. Такой шедевр ни одна игра не переплюнет. Моя оценка 10/10

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 5: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

"Data could not be saved. " 1.5 year after release in a Sony AAA experience? at full price ? Sorry but no.
Death Stranding 2 feels like an upgraded, polished version of Death Stranding, with the same incredible world, bountiful QoL additions across the game, and plenty of new features. The graphics are some of the best I've seen, the game world is truly beautiful. More excellent music, and I was very happy to see the music player added after really wishing it was in the first game. The game runs wonderfully for the most part, though I did experience some stuttering/fps drops for short periods when loading into the game. I may be imagining it, but it seems like we get access to vehicles earlier in this one, which I was very thankful for. I do miss the vehicle variety from the first game though, with all the variants and bonus vehicles you could have by the end, you're limited to 3 in this game. I found the game a bit hard to get into gameplay-wise for the first little while, until you begin unlocking all the interesting gear that makes it progressively easier to complete orders. I made liberal use of the Power Climbing Gloves later on, very convenient item. The addition of To The Wilder difficulty made the facility connection grind much nicer with it's bonus to likes received, although I went the added distance in this game with full completion of all orders, meaning I would have maxed them all anyway. And on that note, I found the max connection rewards for each facility to be a bit underwhelming compared to their earlier ranks. Some of the most fun I had was setting up my zipline network in the mountains, the scenery there is especially beautiful. Curving ziplines is a major upgrade from the first game, though it crucially lacks the feature to change the angle once they are already built, which often makes shared multiplayer structures useless. Level 2 roads were a major upgrade as well, definitely worth the time to get those unlocked. Same with the monorail. Death Stranding 2 is definitely more action/combat heavy, and one feature of which I really enjoyed was
BT Summoning
. I found there to be a bit too much exposition in places, especially with repeating information already given to us earlier, a minor flaw but I did find it distracting. This is made worse if you read the corpus entries since information revealed there may be re-revealed in-game.
Neil's
story seemed to be a bit of a repeat of Cliff's from the first game, which isn't unenjoyable-especially when you get to the end and see the reveals of his story arc-but it is a bit repetitive. The same could be said for Higgs, though it would be hard to choose which version of him I like better. He's an excellent character played wonderfully by Troy Baker. The final sequence of the game was hilarious. I also wasn't a big fan of Lou's story early on, especially with the repeated mechanic of the
BB pod
. Story-wise it pays off, but I found that repeated gameplay mechanic boring, especially after the promotional art and implications of Lou now being
out of the pod
and growing. Fragile was lovely in this game once again, still not sure how I feel about her story resolving though... The new characters are all interesting as well, definitely loved Tomorrow. The All together, Death Stranding 2 was an amazing experience which I had a great time with and would definitely recommend. Despite the few problems I had, the story was great, the music was great, and the gameplay was fun. The story leaves room to continue, which I wonder whether Kojima will. I'll definitely be interested if that is the case.
I will admit, when the first Death Stranding came out, I didn't give it much of a shot and quickly moved on to other games. Looking for something a little different to play, I picked up Death Stranding 2 on a whim after seeing a few clips that caught my eye with how different it looked from everything else that's currently out. Before starting the game, I made sure to watch a two-hour recap of the story from the first game so I wasn't completely lost. There was a bit of a recap when I started the game, but it quickly throws you into the world, and the first thing I noticed was how polished everything was, from the graphics to the animations. After a few hours of playing, the gameplay loop and the story really began to sink their hooks into me, and I started to realize the genius of this game. There is a constant sense of progression with unlocking new items and new ways to go about your deliveries, along with coming across new biomes as you make your way across the map and connect the continent together. I'm still unlocking new things over 50 hours into the game. The social aspect of the game is also something very unique and unlike anything else I've seen. Your world is constantly evolving through player interactions, and other players are shaping your world while you shape theirs. There is something really satisfying about setting up the perfect bridge or ladder to help your fellow porters out, and the structures only get crazier as the game goes on. This is the first game in years where I actually want to go back after finishing the story, complete everything, and get 100% completion. Even just from the recap I watched of the first game, the story was easy to follow. It is definitely one of the most unique stories I've experienced in a game, with some unforgettable characters. I didn't think it would be possible for a talking doll to be such an awesome character. I can't say there was really anything I disliked about the story as a whole, but it may not be for everybody. I'm a big fan of the work of David Lynch, who was a big inspiration for Hideo Kojima. If you're into that kind of stuff, this is a game that's definitely worth checking out for that alone. I truly wasn't expecting this to end up on my list of favorite games of all time, but it most certainly has. I finally understand the hype surrounding Hideo Kojima and why so many people consider him a genius. Bravo, Kojima.
The game is as good as the first. I played on the highest difficulty, but if you want a pleasant experience, I don't recommend playing on that difficulty! It's a great game, but some aspects make the gameplay very tiring, such as excessive text with a lot of repetition even after 30 hours of gameplay, they're still explaining obvious things, and there's an excessive amount of acronyms If you don't care about any of that, it's a good game, good music, beautiful graphics and a good story
