Reaping souls of the dead and punching a clock might get monotonous but it's honest work for a Crow. The job gets lively when your assigned soul is stolen and you must track down a desperate thief to a realm untouched by death - where creatures grow far past their expiry.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

What is this game?
Death's Door is a soulslike metroidvania about a crow who reaps souls for a living. Your task is to gather 3 giant souls (bosses) in order to open Death's Door. This involving tons of slaughter, difficult encounters, and puzzles.
Price/replay value
Horrible - Bad - Decent - Good - Amazing
Achievement hunting
Almost everything is tied to 100% ing the game and thus quite challenging, but not impossible. 3 missables involve hidden interactions with 2 bosses and a challenge achievement for beating the game with only the umbrella (a challenge weapon with half the damage).
Pros/cons
Pros

Banger OST
Challenging yet fair boss design
Dialogue is pretty funny
Cons

Post game is a little tedious
Final boss is incredibly long

Overall opinion
It's been a while since I've had such a blast with a game. This offers both a very challenging and enjoyable experience without ever getting too frustrating. The controls are snappy and always felt accurate to what I was pressing, the bosses have clear telegraphs, and enemies never felt too spongy nor ridiculous to fight. My one complaint is the post game requires a lot of backtracking - and thus can get quite annoying when it isn't clearly indicated what you're trying to find. This felt a little weird when the rest of the game makes clear pretty easily what you're doing and where. The secret ending also left me quite dissapointed as well personally... I'd say it's fine to skip the post game in that sense.
tldr;
Snappy, challenging, fun.
Should you buy it?
If you like soulslikes and metroidvanias? Definitely.

I loved the art style and the music. The story was fairly interesting, and I liked the characters you come across, the character writing was great. But for some reason I never truly "clicked" with Death's Door. Even as I kept playing, something just felt off the entire time and I could never quite put my finger on why. The combat felt fairly satisfying, the bosses had fun arenas and decent mechanics, but I just struggled with loving it. Again, I can't quite pinpoint what it was that I felt was missing, but the feeling wasn't quite there for me. I would have loved a map as I often struggle with spacial navigation, leading me to re-tread paths multiple times, being unsure of where I had been. A map would also have been nice for completionists as you might see something that requires an ability you don't have, only to not remember where it was when you get that ability. I know this might mainly be a "me" problem, but it did drag down the experience for me somewhat. Overall it was still a fun experience, a solid 7/10, that I can recommend if you want a smaller indie souls-like experience
