A solid 5/10 - there are bugs that happen often, like keeping you stuck inside the arena after completing it. The combat is really stiff, and you can't simply go back to the stages that you missed something, it makes you play the stage all over again. Anyway, if you don't mind the jank, it's a capable adventure game, like those early 2000's. I would like to give it a neutral rating. Buy it only on sale. Note: there's a bug that makes the last achievement unobtainable.
You can't turn off the overly-done camera shaking effect that happens when you use your heavy attack. That means that playing this game means committing yourself to watch the screen shaking every few seconds for hours and hours. No thank you.
Charming yet unrefined
Es un buen juego, lo unico que no me gusta es que siendo un juego colombiano no este en español, y alguna que otra cosita, pero de resto esta bien.
Its not bad theres just not much to it. It tries to be a bit like a zelda game, with main and side quests, but its only really there in spirit. The side quests are pretty boring and repetitive and theres not much reward to doing them. The world is big and it looks nice but its pretty empty and lifeless, with no reason to explore. You get soul currency and these pyramid things and all you do is unlock a few attack upgrades and damage upgrades, but theyre minor. The quicktime attack upgrades are pointless and the heavy attack is so slow and does such little extra damage you'll basically just spam regular attack all game so its a bit boring. Hitboxes are wonkey as you'll attack through people regularly without damaging them. You unlock a few new weapons but they all do the same damage basically and they won't do the damage the upgraded other ones did so theres not much need to experiment. Thats about it for upgrades, you get a few mobility upgrades late in the game, and only a single real ranged attack. The puzzles are fine, nothing special. The story was relatively bland and mostly dialogue bubbles I found myself skipping through. The game isn't bad, just kind of mediocre. Its a barely recommend, because it does work and is functional, but its not exciting. 6.5/10
Storyline 7/10 Graphic 6/10 a bit blury and too bright at some point Fight 7/10 a lot differents nice power to use, the basic ennemies are repeating but boss nice, i got fun. Overrall 7/10 the game is not perfect but very enjoyable, i like it :)
great gameplay, great story. great graphics. some annoying bugs. couldnt restart from checkpoint and the fast travel map was sticky af. also golem king got bugged a couple times.
Casual Zelda like hack n-slash. Not a souls-like at all. Super fun and and interesting story.
Thoroughly enjoyable game. Nice simple hack-n-slash fun. Ran into a few bugs, but nothing that broke my save or set me back too far. It's pretty easy to miss collectibles on your first playthrough, because you'll often progress the mission without realizing, and then you can't go back. And if you want to go back to a level to collect them, you have to replay the missions. All other achievements were easily obtained through normal gameplay. The story is interesting enough to keep you invested, and the art design is cute. You won't find yourself stuck not knowing what to do or where to go, and there are no major difficulty spikes. Game runs well on the Steam Deck.
Changing review from negative to positive: I actually like this game and fully intend to finish it, I like the combat and super awesome soundtracks. But, why in the word would you not have backpedalling in a action-adventure combat game? The character runs backwards instead EVEN WHEN YOU ARE LOCKED ON AN ENEMY causing you to get hit because your back is turned. Questionable design. (just got an ability that allow multi directional parrying and that mitigates the lack of backpedal, but still) Also, going back to an area for collectibles resets the entire area. You pretty much have to redo everything. This seems to be a major concern for players and still hasn't been patched, do the devs care?
