Do i recommend playing this game? yes. Do i recommend playing it via the steam port? no. Over seven years ago i watched my favorite youtube channel play the first two chapters of this game. i found it charming and hilarious, but it wasn't until now that i saw it on sale and decided to see for myself how it actually ends. I might have had high expectations, and as of right now i'm not sure if my expectations were met. However, i'm glad that i played it. It's an odd little gem. I love the characters, i love the town, and overall i love the story. The port though.. I have nothing nice to say about it. If you're looking at reviews you'll see how many people were unable to run it. I fought tooth and nail to see the end of the game, and questioned if it would be worth it the whole time. If you are as determined as me, just know that along side running in windows 98 and running the launcher as administrator, sometimes you will have to switch to windowed mode. And when that doesn't solve crashing issues, you will have to download an unofficial patch for the game and place it in the files. That helps with some crashes, but causes others so you will be switching from removing the patch and putting it back. And when the crashing persists no matter what, you will have to restart your computer and then miraculously it will finally stop that specific crash. That being said, i did finish the game and got every achievement, so if you set your mind to it, you can absolutely make it work.

Gioco inutilizzabile su Windows 10/11 Steam lo vende comunque. Il gioco crasha sempre dopo i loghi iniziali su Windows 10 e 11, rendendolo completamente ingiocabile. Ho provato tutte le soluzioni disponibili (DPfix, compatibilità, reinstallazioni di DirectX e Visual C++, ecc.) ma non esiste alcun modo per farlo partire. È inaccettabile che Steam continui a vendere un titolo non più supportato, senza alcuna avvertenza sulla compatibilità. Paradossalmente, la versione GOG dello stesso gioco funziona perfettamente sui sistemi moderni, segno che il problema è noto e risolvibile, ma mai affrontato dagli sviluppatori né da Valve. Acquisto sconsigliato: se volete giocarlo davvero, prendetelo su GOG, dove è aggiornato e funzionante.

Először is, a játék technikailag rendkívül gyenge. Még a "Director's Cut" verzióban is számos bug és grafikai hiba található, ami jelentősen ronthatja a játékélményt. A karaktermodellek és környezetek gyakran laposak és textúrázásuk elavult, ami mai szemmel kissé nevetséges hatást kelt. A játékmenet különösen kritizálható. Az akció és a harc rendkívül ügyetlenül van megvalósítva, a vezetési és irányítási rendszer különösen frusztráló lehet. A küldetések gyakran egyhangúak és időnként értelmetlenek, ami miatt azok teljesítése inkább kötelezőség, mint szórakozás. Narratíva szempontjából a játék ugyan egyedi és különleges hangulatot áraszt, de sokak számára inkonzisztens és zavaros lehet. A karakterek viselkedése néha érthetetlen és nem kap kellő mélységet, ami megnehezíti a játékosokkal való azonosulást. Végső soron "Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut" egy olyan játék, amely inkább kuriózum, mintsem magas minőségű szórakozás. Bár van benne egyedi bája és néhány játékosok számára kedves elem, a technikai és játékmeneti hibák miatt nehezen ajánlható bárkinek, aki a mai játékok színvonalát keresi.

História: parece uma fanfic de Twin Peaks com os nomes e alguns eventos trocados, não acho q seja cópia descarada, mas realmente é fortemente inspirado. Achei interessante mesmo assim e vi potencial, mas fiquei me perguntando se esse jogo ainda seria um queridinho cult se os fãs tivessem assistido a série na qual ele foi inspirado. Gameplay: Diferenciada, nao sei se eu gostei das mecanicas pq eu sou bilu teteia ou se elas são legais mesmo. Curti até onde eu joguei mas o resto é todo quebradao mesmo. Essa quantidade comicamente pequena de horas no jogo é pq deu ruim nele e eu não consegui jogar mais depois da parte inicial, risos...... Vale mais a pena ver video ensaio no youtube do q pagar 40 conto nesse diabo, mas eu paguei 2 então não saí perdendo tanto.
