НЕ ПОКУПАЙТЕ! Игра вылетает и сыпит багами на каждом шагу! Я не смог пройти основную миссию из-за постоянного вылета в одном и том же месте! Я вас предупредил!
For as delightfully weird and oddly charming as this game is, this port has too many performance issues for me to really recommend, even with the DPFix mod. Personally I plan to try again some other day, update my review then, but for now I'd suggest avoiding this port unless it's on sale and you're very curious

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

no full screen, ridiculously long cut scenes with horrible acting, bad dialogue, nonsense plot, no way in options to see controls and it doesnt recognize a 360 controller, horrible frame rate, runs like crap on a computer vastly over spec, even at $1 this is trash
Incredibly Soulful Game. Hopefully one day this game will be properly fixed without having to play around with compatability modes and framerates.
People like to say that TLOU2 was divisive, nope. THIS was divisive. People either love this game or hate it, no in-betweens, and even the ones who love it accept that it's a deeply flawed game, and that's part of his charm. I played this game the first time many years ago, on the old 360, and recently I bought it on Steam. Someone once said "imagine Kojima decided to make a game that mixes the clunkiness of the first Resident Evil games, the camera of the OG RE4, the landscapes of Twin Peaks and the general and toned down atmosphere of a Silent Hill while he was on a bad trip caused by shrooms and cocaine. That's Deadly Premonition." And by God was he right. This game has horrible graphics, horrible controls, it takes you on a perilous adventure just to make it run on your 5070Ti rig and it doesn't even promise you to run well, or at all. It's a mistery. This game makes the OG Jill Valentine with tank controls on a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ PS1 controller feel like she is a syberian olympic gymnast because my boy Francis York Morgan, FBI agent, but everyone calls him York, can't even walk right without looking like someone shoved a suppository up his prison pocket. Aiming in this game feels like you're trying to play pool with a rope; meleeing in this game feels like you're trying to hit a bear with a sponge, while you're on a wheelchair, and the wheelchair has no wheels, and you are blind, and the bear is on cocaine; getting to your inventory feels like you're at work, you look at the clock and find out that you still have 4 more hours to go. Simply put, many things in this game are done wrong, or even worse. But what it makes right it's on point. If you manage to go past the barely decent and functional combat system, learn to appreciate the obsolete simplicity of a lot of textures, accept that this game has the body and soul of an old game that was already old when it came out the first time I promise you that you will understand why this game is kept in the highest regards by the lunatics I am part of. The main character is a concentrate of tropes and charms of the FBI agent that it's possibly even crazier than the crazy guys he hunts for work; the game is filled with the comedic timings and situations you'd find in your day to day japanese videogame; the world you get thrown into it's strange, upside down like many of the individuals that haunt it, and that's normal for this game. Once you understand that this is a serious game, with a serious story and serious characters that willingly avoids taking itself too seriously you have already understood half of the originality this game brings to the table. In all honesty I wouldn't change a thing of this game, even though I also wouldn't mind a remake to give its story, its characters and its atmosphere a chance to be appreciated by those that otherwise would be chased away by its many flaws, flaws that make this game both harder to enjoy and easier to appreciate in its quirkiness. All I'll say now it's this: give it a chance. It will only cost you a buck or two and a couple hours of your life. Worst case scenario you get your bucks back and have a game to roast to your friends. So yeah, go fishing, eat some cake and drink some coffee in a 90's styled diner, enjoy the oddly textured Greenvale and its points of interest, talk about movies with yourself while you drive highly above the speed limit in a cop car, smoke a pack of cigarettes just because you don't want York to rest tonight and get out of your hotel room after 9PM just to understand why nobody else, in Greenvale, does. Oh, find who the killer is, too. Simply put, find out why Deadly Premonition holds the Guinness World Record for the Most Critically Polarizing Survival Horror Game (copy pasted from Google, yep) and see if you're going to love it or absolutely curse the day your mother brought you in this world just to make you waste a couple bucks and a couple hours of your life on this game. For me, with a lot of bias, this game deserves an 11 out of 10.
As a kid, I vaguely recall seeing the cover art for the Xbox 360 edition at GameStop and thought it was badass. Parent's wouldn't buy M-rated games for me and randomly remembered this game as of recently. So, naturally, I played it. Absolute masterpiece of a game. The PC port has some kinks sadly. Luckily there are tips and tricks within the community forums to help you with specific issues you may face. ATTENTION: SAVE AT EVERY PHONE PLEASE!! Take heed from my mistakes because a few times I didn't save at a phone and wanted to blow my shiiiiiiiiiiii smooove off. For the best experience of this game, I'd just buy a copy and a Xbox 360 or a PS3. :-)
The best worst game i every played. The Story ist good. The characters interesting. The Graphic are bad and the game crashed constantly but still worth the a play.
runs like ♥♥♥♥ from a butt
so bad it's good unfortunate port
