Game literally does not work. I don't care how many fixes people talk about and how many workarounds you can try, this game is in an unacceptable condition on this store. Do not buy this game (and maybe buy something cool like D4 Dark Dreams Don't Die instead)

el juego me estaba enganchandome bastantes pero se me hace imposible que cada 2 x 3 el juego se crasheee en momentos clave y peor que ni la propia comunidad puede solucionarlo. este es un claro ejemplo de un juego que necesita urgentemente un remaster corrigiendo los problemas que presenta la version de pc. por suerte existe la version de consola

i got RTX 4060 and still get 10 fps in this game, GGs. Worst port ever. And the fact that i can't even return it since i bought it from a third party :/

Deadly Premonition is one of the most fantastic, mindblowing, and mesmerizing games in the entire world. It's like a carcrash, you really just can't look away from this disaster. Unfortunately, the version on steam is the absolute worst port ever made. The original version of the game was a buggy mess but it was charming. This version is literally unplayable. You crash constantly for doing anything and everything. The game "forces" you to download DPfix but that is just putting a band-aid on a decapitation. It barely works and the fix can't stop the pure assault of every glitch and bug this game has. I've put 9.5 hours into the game and I can't take anymore. Out of those almost 10 hours, 3-4 of it has been loading screen and crashes. The hospital is a high crash zone and took me 2 hours and another save just to get past it due to the crashes. It's embarrassing. I hate it Everything about this port needs to be studied in exactly how not to do this. The fact that this is still available on steam is a slap in the face and the fact that it has been a decade and we still don't have any "good" way to play this game pisses me off to no end. They shouldn't be selling a game that's barely functional on the store front. Play the Switch or PS3 versions.
