An entirely separate campaign inspired by classic survival horror games, set prior to the events of the main game. Play as Anya, a fledgling actress who finds herself helplessly lost in the mansion after her film crew is attacked by the undead.
Abandoned by her leading man and left alone with nothing but a mask to disguise herself with, Anya must escape the increasingly warped and deadly estate all on her own.

I have been playing Dead Estate as of the time of this review for a little over 24 hours and I have been enjoying it for my first Rougelike that I have ever played. Also the Music is really good and I'll some day buy this game's soundtrack.

For a long time The Binding of Isaac was my gold standard for twin stick roguelikes. I can honestly say Dead Estate has now taken that spot for me. The runs are fast, the characters are all fun to play as with unique quirks, and the art style is so fun and varied; when I first was exploring the floors I always looked forward to seeing what theme the next one was going to use. Items still follow the formula or not universally good, but I felt the "bad" items were never a game over, and just required me to use more creative means to clear the floor. I've also played exclusively on a Legion Go S and the game runs great with no hitches or slowdown. Overall, a definite recommend if you enjoy the genre and it might just be the most fun I've had with this type of game ever.
