In the peaceful vastness of the ocean, Darwin, a young octopus, explores the deep sea… until a strange beam of light pierces the abyss and pulls him toward the surface. Thrust out of his aquatic world, he wakes up disoriented in the middle of a gigantic junkyard, backed by a foreboding factory.
But something is wrong. Between the threatening machines, strange holding tanks, and the mysterious and dangerous creatures and characters that inhabit the place, Darwin realizes he is in danger. Darwin's Paradox is a really enjoyable cinematic 2D puzzle adventure game. It's short, I finished it in less than 4 hours, but it's paced well and doesn't feel like it overstays its welcome. The game looks great and the story is told really well considering there's not a single line of dialogue, it's all visual. The story ends rather abruptly, but I had fun all the way to the end. I'm glad there are still new games like this out there. If this looks interesting, pick it up. It will not disappoint.

It's kinda ok, but not worth the full price. Somewhat entertaining cutscenes between somewhat boring and occasionally frustrating gameplay. Runs poorly and ends in a cliffhanger. You need to use AI upscaling just to run it at stabe 60fps at 1440p on a high-end machine.
Sencillo y divertido plataformas con buenos gráficos y mecánicas simples pero muy bien efectuadas. Manejas a un simpático pulpo que solo quiere vivir en paz pero es victima de los aliens y las circunstancias. El juego tiene variedad de biomas, momentos de sigilo, persecuciones, plataformeo clásico... con una música acorde, aunque no es especialmente distintiva, este juego te asegura unas cuantas horas de buen entretenimiento. Calidad precio, merece la pena. En oferta es casi un pecado no hacerse con él si te gusta el género. A jugar!!
Es tut mir wirklich leid, aber die ganzen positiven Bewertungen kann ich überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen. Bisher habe ich noch nie eine negative Bewertung abgegeben, aber hier kann ich einfach nicht anders. Das Spiel macht überhaupt keinen Spaß und ist einfach nur langweilig. Die Puzzle und Rätsel sind einfallslos und viel zu geradlinig. Auch die Performance auf dem Steam Deck und der Steam Machine ist fürchterlich. Nachdem das Spiel auf dem Steam Deck zweimal hintereinander an derselben Stelle abgestürzt ist, musste ich schließlich abbrechen. Schade um das Geld.
