About
Embark on a grand adventure worthy of a true animated movie with Darwin, an octopus as charming as he is clever, ripped from the ocean and trapped in a massive and mysterious industrial complex. With his extraordinary intelligence and incredible abilities – swimming, camouflage, and many other fascinating skills – help him overcome the most formidable traps and dangers in this captivating platformer, adventure, and puzzle game.
In the peaceful vastness of the ocean, Darwin, a young octopus, explores the deep sea… until a strange beam of light pierces the abyss and pulls him toward the surface. Thrust out of his aquatic world, he wakes up disoriented in the middle of a gigantic junkyard, backed by a foreboding factory.
But something is wrong. Between the threatening machines, strange holding tanks, and the mysterious and dangerous creatures and characters that inhabit the place, Darwin realizes he is in danger. To return to the ocean, Darwin will have to outsmart, evolve, and reveal to the players through his journey the mysteries of a conspiracy that goes beyond anything one could have imagined… and which could very well seal the fate of humanity!

LOVED playing this game! The puzzles were challenging but also kept the story moving. Some of the more difficult moments I had to step away haha The storyline is really cute and all you want is to see Darwin and his friend, safe! check out my Youtube Channel for the full gameplay: https://www.youtube.com/@Northwest_Sim
Maravilhoso.
Definitiv empfehlenswert! Unbedingt Teil 2 :D

The game is fun and enjoyable, except for one major issue: the developers chose what I consider the worst possible engine for it—Unreal Engine 5. The optimization is pretty poor, making the game much heavier than it needs to be. It could still look great without demanding so much from your hardware. There are plenty of cool areas that I really enjoyed exploring. Like any platformer, it has some frustrating sections, but they're all manageable. I completed the entire game with a keyboard, except for the final level, where I switched to a controller because the underwater controls were driving me crazy. The ending wasn't anything special and leaves the story open, so it looks like a sequel is planned, which is pretty cool. Overall, I'd give it a 7/10.
Darwins Paradox is a tremendous fun game, i had a great time playing it and getting all the achievments. The graphics ara so great the plot is awesome..the vibe is very 50s alien invasion style!! Super cool game to play on the Deck too!!!
cute
Un jeu court mais fun. Des graphismes somptueux, un level design intelligent et un personnage attachant. Je recommande, pas à plein tarif néanmoins.
Absolutely blown away by the blend of simplicity and complexity in this game. It has that gorgeous isometric 2D platforming style that I fell in love with while playing Metroid Dread, and the effect is that much more beautiful here with environments changing constantly and enemies and objects in the foreground and background coming into play with your 2d playing field frequently (mostly during stealth missions). The abilities of Darwin are simple enough, but the use of them always feels so satisfying and makes you feel so smart. The game does an excellent job in telegraphing why you died, what you need to do to succeed, and where you need to go even if the answer requires some fairly complex movement. As somewhat of a veteran gamer, I was very pleasantly surprised by the games willingness to ramp up the difficulty and trust their own design to help the player pull off some pretty challenging and fast paced maneuvers. This game is a ton of fun and I can't wait to get back into it and play some more! It's a perfect game for some summer fun!
i was promised stealth octopus and for the first hour it was just bland plateform.
