Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.57/day in the week to Sep 11 → 0.43/day in the week after.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

前3个小时没有明显的问题,能看出游戏底子是好的,潜力有,开发组有点想法的,就是像一键配人、一键开关建筑这种功能没有,得手动一个个点,多少有点强迫症的,建议再打磨一下;
This is an excellent colony builder in the vein of Frostpunk and Cliff Empires and Ixion (and the incoming pirate one, Corsair Cove). I don't find value in comparing these titles other than to say that they scratch a similar itch. DarkSwitch is steampunk elves in a world increasingly twisted by a creeping fog, akin to Stephen Kings 'The Mist' (called The Shroud). Large world trees (Aredetis Trees I think they are called) are your hope as you build structures around them and above the fog. Resources like wood, food, and metal can only be found on the ground, forcing you to also build on the land and contend with the Shroud. So far I am 14 hours in and having a great time. What is here is worth the price tag hands down, and the mini events offer replay value. The game feels good in all regards, it runs well, pacing is good with challenges and progress, complexity of tech and new buildings is diverse without being cumbersome, There are some smaller quality of life things I would like to see, and Devs responded favorably to comments in forums (more patches and changes based on feedback and development decisions incoming), with the last patch as of posting being 1.1.2 on June 24. The Voice Acting (English localization) is interesting. Eastern European Elves? (Triple E!). Initially I didn't like it, but after 14 hours so far, i found myself happy to have the Voice Acting than not for the encounters (its just some NPC dialogue is voiced, not every encounter). I HIGHLY recommend giving the demo a try if you can. Moreover, while most games are 'worth it' with a big enough discount, few games, imo, are worth it even if there is not a discount currently, and I count DarkSwitch as among them.

If once a year Steam gave me the option to give one game a double thumbs down, this would be the game I would use it on.
Fantasy Frostpunk.
Dark Switch was a really refreshing experience for me. It brings something new to the city-building genre, and best of all, it's a complete game instead of yet another Early Access title. It's great to finally get a finished game with a well-told story that keeps you engaged from start to finish. My only real complaint is that once you finish the story, that's it. I would have loved to see an endless mode or another game mode that lets you keep building and playing after the campaign ends. Overall, I highly recommend Dark Switch to anyone looking for a fresh take on the genre with a great story. It was a pleasant surprise, and I really hope the developers add an endless mode or more post-story content in the future.
