I really wish I was able to sit down and play this “game” (what a stretch of the word) inside the 2 weeks from when I bought it so that I would still be eligible to refund. Genuinely just a boring game. Things happen and you have very little control over the outcome and very little is explained to you. The game is both mind-numbingly easy and frustratingly difficult at the same time, the problem being you don’t feel in control of any of the difficult aspects. Art style is great, though.
this game takes a bit of getting used to; like it isn't the kind of thing that you jump in and immediately understand the nuances of. but once you give it a bit and get used to the mechanics, what you'll find is a refreshingly unique and engaging take on a run and gun/platformer it's a lot of fun to run and shoot. i usually hate autoscrollers in platformers, but this game feels very well considered compared to, say, a mario autoscroller. the game feels built around positioning and crowd control rather than just platforming, so the scrolling adds to the challenge in an intuitive way. the rougelike elements aren't as prominent as they tend to be in other games, but deciding which upgrades to buy feels so much more interesting and strategic, because the star system turns them into a real choice instead of a binary upgrade so this game didn't instantly make sense to me, since it has a lot of design quirks you don't see in other games like it. but once i did grow familiar with what makes it different, i quickly fell in love with it. there's a lot of fun to be had in mastering the platforming and in optimizing your build. in a way, it reminded me what i loved about these genres in the first place. highly recommended for anyone looking for something a bit different; just be sure to give it some time and to read the instruction book please fix the npc dialogue audio bug though. please

I unlocked and get to play as a dog. Thumbs up from me. Fun time on the deck as well. Will be where I play it most.
at first it feels quite hostile to play till you get a hang of the movement and makes you realise how fair it is👍
I actually genuinely have enjoyed this game. I am glad I picked this up when the free bundled games, as this game is easily worth double what I paid for! It took a few rounds to get what I was doing, and each run I get a little bit farther. I think the lack of direction is what makes this fun, almost like an A HA! moment when I discover something new on my own. Also, don't forget to save the dog! ;)
Great game, but it definitely needs fine tuned. The shop prices are kind of outrageous. It would be a lot more fun if I felt like I was progressing between runs. It becomes quite repetitive when you can barely afford any shop upgrades. Some of the platforming can be wonky especially when playing co-op. Despite those complains it is a lot of fun for a co-op arcade game. I am looking forward to some improvements though.
This is a fun, little game! I'll admit I didn't enjoy the first run or two but once I started understanding some of the nuance of each character's attacks and abilities it became a lot of fun. Also once I unlocked more perks and characters each run got more variety which helped keep it fresh. Like other rogue-likes, when you get a broken combo of perks it feels great to demolish a boss that was challenging otherwise.
