Dark Romance: Vampire in Love Collector's Edition

Alors j’ai passé un bon moment sur ce jeu d’objets cachés dont voici un retour rapide : • L'histoire principale est plus un prétexte pour enchaîner les différents mini-jeux. Dommage, j'aurai aimé plus de profondeur et un plus grand développement des personnages ; • L’histoire bonus est une allonge de l’histoire principale dont le choix de fin est une bonne idée ; • De l’originalité dans le gameplay à savoir de pouvoir passer d'un personnage à un autre et s'échanger des objets ; • La musique est dans le thème mais je ne l'ai pas trouvée très originale ; • La D.A et les différents tableaux ne sont pas moches mais c'est juste passable. J'aurai aimé un peu plus de soin au design des personnages notamment - c’est peut-être une histoire de goût ; • Je n'ai pas eu de bugs ; • Un manque de précision pour certains mini-jeux mais une bonne diversité évitant de se lasser ; • Une bonne rejouabilité induite par les différents niveaux de difficultés et la chasse aux succès. Mon seul regret, comme déjà indiqué, est le manque d’une histoire vraiment prenante. Bon jeu !

It has some interesting mechanics, but the graphics are dated, the story is poor, the locations are few and dull, and the entire thing rather feels like a chore instead of an entertaining game (for instance each HOG is recycled multiple times). There are much better puzzle games, even in the Dark Romance series.

Very fun little HOP game with a few twists for those that may not like to do the HOP over and over again... played this through with my wife and we both enjoyed it... definitely an improvement on the standard HOP formula but you'll have to play it to understand as I don't want to spoil the mechanics and whatnot that make the game series enjoyable! Looking forward to playing more of these to see how the game series evolved through the years, will comment on them all once we play them!

This is the first in a long series of Dark Romance games. It's an old-school hidden object game with hand-drawn graphics and journals to help you keep track. I reviewed it 10 years ago on another site and here I am playing it yet again. You get to play two characters, decorate your castle and page, find hidden treasures, and the bonus chapter gives you two alternative endings. This will always stand as one of my favorites.

I remember enjoying this one. it had a few hiccups, but it was smooth enough to where i barely had to use any hints. its pretty lengthy and has a few interesting mechanics i don't see in many HO games.

This is a great game. The game plus bonus took 16 hours. The game has great puzzles, some very challenging. Well worth the money!

decent story, lots of puzzles in puzzles, HOGs, maps and indicators, with 2 characters that you get to play at once in 2 different locations

This was awesome games , it very different story lines and points of view , the hidden object puzzle was different and fun, it makes you play over and over again i love it . no glitches or bug very smooth games ,
