Short version: 55%
I can recommend Dark Parables 8 for those who want some balanced fragmented object scenes. If you want anything more though, like a good story or puzzles, then you may have to rethink buying this.
Long version:
Do you remember the giant lore behind the Dark Parables series? Keep them cherished in your memories because they are gone now. As Eipix took over from Blue Tea, they did their best to mimic some gameplay elements, but they never bothered to keep track of the story. On top of that, the plot feels weak and rushed. There is an undersea kingdom, an antagonist with a little backstory, and some vague catastrophe we must prevent. Still, it lacks something to hold it together. In the end, it is not terrible, but it leaves no lasting impressions. Okay, I will admit it: the fragmented object scenes in The Little Mermaid and the Purple Tide are better than ever. They are easy, but the internal achievement system still makes them interesting. I also liked some of the puzzles, although they repeat too much. However, the adventure gaming parts are terrible. We now have a quick-travel map, but we also have to backtrack way too much.
By the 8th game, a different gaming company joined in to work on the series... You can clearly tell the difference. The game is still beautiful, but the items seem to have lost their charm. The H.O. scenes are much easier now and item combination is slower. There are map teleports and well... The Bonus Game is glitched... However... You can still play it. (Only the two women are glitched out, but thankfully the story continues... Regardless of you being ahead of what needs to be done lol). Now... That doesn't mean all of this makes the game suck. They still kept the traditional darkness going and the Parables and a few other things. I just didn't like this one as much as the others. I was also enraged at the mermaid/merman for what they did to the Secret Visitor that tags along with you. I will also tell you that I started playing the 9th game and the mistakes that seemed to be in this one? Were fixed. So we'll see. Still good, but.. It's slowly becoming more like the modern H.O. games. Not that it's always a bad thing... Thanks you! :> :)
To be honest, I feel disappointed with this game. I like the fantastic art scenes and cutscenes, and I do like the story theme. The weak connection between game maps, stories and gameplay. My gaming experience is tedious, and it grew more and more tedious during the game progresses. The game map is big, but it gives plenty of cross-map item searches and the same puzzle game during the game process. The puzzle game lacks attractive and creative. No need to use the brain; you can still complete the entire game.
Dark Parables #8. A series of fragmented object games with puzzles and stories that each stand alone, but are also interconnected in the form of recurring characters. But each game tells its own story and they can technically be played in any order. I believe this is the first entry in Dark Parables to offer fast travel. There are also achievements within the game, though they don't show up on Steam. There are collectibles that unlock lore. It also has a bonus adventure. The story for this one is quite weak, but the artwork is parcticularly beautiful to me as it takes place in a sea kingdom. Recurring characters include Pinocchio, plus references to Frog Prince and Red Riding Hood sisters.
My favourite one from the whole series. All dark parables are great, but this one just hits the spot: beautiful artwork, nice music, clever riddles and mermaids! If you want to try out HOPs, then this is the gem that get you hooked up.

I really, really love this addition to Dark Parables. Finally, the puzzles get some love. I am so happy to find great challenging puzzles in this series. I am a puzzle lover, so this was great for me. Just had a lot of fun with them. But some where a little hair pulling, but that's perfectly fine! Are is gorgeous, the HO scenes are eye candy. Just a really great game that I can't recommend enough!
I usually really love the Dark Parables stories. I own many of them and was looking forward to this one. There are some good parts to this game, of course, but the puzzles are not one of them. These are some of the worst puzzles I've ever had to play in a HOG game. They aren't really hard. They're more annoying and frustrating at times than hard and they're rarely enjoyable. I hated the "change the symbols" puzzles and the ones where they wanted you to move a certain number of spaces around a board to get orbs. I would've been fine, but having to do the same types of puzzles repeatedly in the game made it more tedious and less enjoyable than I would've liked. In other words, there was a lot less variety than you'd usually find in a HOG game. Also, getting an achievement for waiting for 5 minutes without doing anything in a HOG puzzle is absolutely ridiculous. I bring this up mainly because it means you have to artificially inflate the game play time just to do one achievement. It wasn't a bad game, but if it had been my first experience with the Dark Parables line of HOG's, I absolutely wouldn't have continued to play them. It's not the best of the bunch by far. I don't recommend it to anyone who is just looking for a regular HOG style game and who hasn't already played the other DP games. If you've played the others, by all means, play this one to continue with the stories. If you haven't played the other DP games, play some of the others first because this one isn't as good (In my opinion). What a shame.
Aventura Visual de clic and Point

Sinopsis
Mini Guegos/ Mini Puzzles

It's alright....I mean, that is really the best and the worst thing I could say about this. Everything, from the graphics to the writing to the music to the puzzles is............alright. It won't give you or your computer some horrifying wasting disease if you play it, but it's not going to set the world on fire either. Oh, and as an item of note, it is one of the unfathomably few games by Big Fish Games on Steam that actually has some Steam features (in this case, trading cards). So that's something to put in the plus column ;-) Recommended, but I'm not gonna rave about it or something. It's just harmless, solid HOG fun, that doesn't sink to the worst of the genre, but doesn't really rise to the best either.
