Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Sep 3 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Supremely mediocre The combat is the same sky-skater stuff that has been around since the PSX days. The shaders are slightly better now. If you like these kinds of games, it fits in. I'm not seeing anything special, though. However... You know in a movie where the POV character has gotten horribly sick or near-fatally wounded, and there's this sequence where they fade in and out of consciousness, hearing people nearby talking in out of context nonsense? That's the writing of every moment of this game. There is so little context for ANYTHING. Who is your character? Where are you living? What are you connected to? Who are you connected to? Who is letting some of these loonies have access to weapons? Is there anything happening in this GLOBAL CONFLICT that isn't firing at enemies or standing in the hangar, staring at the briefing station? It wouldn't be so offensive except that there is a 'conversation' that happens before and after every 'mission.' They could have set it in a VR world where there is no pretense of story. Pretense of context is actively worse than none.

armored core gameplay with armored core devs and yet its lacking a certain jenasaiwhatever; not quite fast enough, not quite tight enough, not quite lethal enough, doesn't quite hit the same dopamine receptors as any given armored core games including the early ones. i dunno what went wrong, but its just not that fun.
Can't pet dog

Alright... so... God where do I even begin? So as a lot of the other reviews say the story sucks. Tho to be fair the story isn't exactly bad but how it's executed is what's awful. As a game that's very Anime in the artstyle it very heavily has your stereotypical character tropes within the Anime genre. So much so that you REALLY start to question your interest in Anime... it's that bad. I could go into more details on it but think of the worst parts of "Anime Character Development" and whatever you're thinking is probably pretty accurate. Some characters have to be bipolar based on how they switch mentalities and views on things every other mission that you start to wonder if it's even the same person. A lot of characters doing total 180s on things like "OH BOY I CAN'T WAIT TO BLOW STUFF UP!!!" to "I don't even want to fight anymore. What am I even doing here? (in the most depressing tone ever)" and then over to "Wow guys look at how much of a fun character I am! Careful I might not be trustworthy! HAHAHAHA!!!" like holy moly... Some missions are painfully repeated. Tho let me be clear on this you don't excactly play the same exact mission but rather you play a different mission with different characters but the exact same events with the exact same conversations of "Whoa! There's another team here and they aim to do the exact opposite of what we are doing? No way! You guys better leave! Oh no! GUESS WE ARE FIGHTING!!!" and imagine this being done like... four or five times over. Then towards the late game something similar happens where you're basically playing the same mission like... three or four times and the same nonsense happens in each one or close enough to where you're just bored and not paying attention. Tho it was comical that during the first of this session of missions that one of the characters gets killed off but like... the camera fades to black as the gun that gets fired just... "recoils" with no muzzle flash or noise and then it's all weepy time for the guy who pulled the trigger. Cutscenes with characters during the mission briefing are super cringe and then it somehow changes, while feeling just as bad, when it changes to just textboxes and voices talking to each other back and forth for several minutes. The worst part is that if you're interested in listening to them talk you have to press Interact to continue the talking instead of just relaxing to the side (like the side character that never speaks that you are). Speaking of which... the game only has three moments where you get to respond to the characters as they ask you questions but only at the very end of the game does the one even matter and even so it's just a ending choice that ultimately doesn't matter too much. The music in the game isn't exactly "bad" but it's always so... EXTRA at all times. Hanger? TRY HARD MUSIC!!! Battle? TRY HARD MUSIC!!! Moments where characters talking? TRY HARD MUSIC (save for very few instances)!!! Ice Cream Parlor? OBNOXIOUS COLORS AND MUSIC AT MAX!!! Speaking of THAT stupid gimmick the Ice Cream Parlor feels like "Monster Hunter World" Food Buffs from wish. No epic animation, super annoying cheery vibe in an otherwise "dark and edgy world" and the buffs themselves are trivial for only one mission. Buffs ranging from various small bonuses that are anywhere from 1% to 4% reload speed or something else dumb. The worst part is that you HAVE to interact with this feature for up to 20 missions in order to unlock the "Boss Gear" shop. Or was it 50? I can't remember... it's annoying, that's all there is to it. You don't unlock parts in the shop the normal way you'd think. This game uses a Scavenge/Loot mechanic that on paper sounds cool is actually executed poorly. Sure you can scavenge parts off of other Arsenals (the name of your Mech and other people's Mechs in this game) but if you want to get more parts in the Shop you have to go to the Factory tab and SACRIFICE your gear that you find to get the Factory to "Research" new parts into the Shop for you to buy (which may or may not be pointless because upon Researching you get that part that you just Researched). The worst part about this is that EVERYTHING you do in the hanger essentially costs money and a lot of it. The only thing that doesn't cost money is simply moving around parts that you own but moving chips between parts (which are little buffs for gear that all have various Tiers of strength) and researching stuff costs money and the stuff you can eventually buy from the shop are all extremely expensive and your income in the game is extremely low early on. Like... LOW low for an early game session. I don't know, maybe some people like some of the Hanger gimmicks but to me it's just annoying and tediious and a lot of your loot that you may or may not get is based on RNG. Paint Patterns are earned as you play but you can't customize the patterns (like various camos or the shiny plates) so you can either get a preset Camo of sorts or go with your other bland looking colors with no flare to them as your choice, but at least you can pick the colors in question. Decals in the game are present that you can place on parts but from what I can tell there's no way to customize where they go exactly besides "generic Emblem location." On top of that you can't make your own Emblem like you can in Armored Core games. You have to "find" these Emblems in the world (or just find a room with 10 Emblems in the grind fest that is Explore). How's the actual Gameplay tho? To be honest the Gameplay feels fairly smooth. Literally the least of its problems. There are some aspects of controlling my Mech that feels weird (my Mech when I'm moving forward and I gently tap my A button to get SOME elevation and I just keep going up unless I stop moving entirely or tap my descend button but then I go all the way down and stuck in a mild loop of going up and down like an idiot until I just stop moving or hit the ground by accident). Beyond that tho I can't say I have any real issues. Actually there was one issue early on that I fixed but then caused another issue in return. The freaking HUD... holy crap is it cluttered with so much nonsense at the start that you can't see anything as you easily lose faster targets. I ended up having to lose most of my reticle and all of my Ammo Counters so that I could see more of what was in front of me. The location of the ammo counters is in a weird spot that's like... the right middle of your screen. Right where you're going to be looking a lot of the time besides dead center. So you can't see how much ammo you have without manually clicking your "Swap Weapons" button to do an ammo check. You also can't manually reload weapons with mags that are only partially empty so if you've got a weapon with a lengthy reload time and you've only got a couple of bullets in the mag you get to sit there reloading the gun at the start of a gunfight. That said ammo seems to not be a huge issue for most missions until late game and even then it's kinda a tossup on how bad it is depending on what you're using. I will admit the game got "better" (I use this lightly) when I finished the story only because I didn't have 20 minute sessions of talking. I'mma be honest in my first 90ish minutes of playing the game only about 15ish of those minutes felt like I was actually playing. Missions were super easy at the start (like so easy you'd think the Devs were scared of you dying so they held your hand the whole time) and felt super boring. Maybe it felt that way to me because I'm an Armored Core veteran but still it felt like such a drag. It wasn't until I got halfway thru the entire story did I feel the need to actually "try" and even then that's an exaggeration until I got to the very last Boss and the End Game Raid Bosses. No more room to talk. Game bad. DXM2 isn't promising based on this game. Got for free. Still feel robbed. Achievements are Grindfests in the end. PvP feels just as bad.
