Reviews
Don't be fooled by the recent buzz to reboot development. Orion Prelude was and still is like the second or third re-brand of the same game in order to keep the skeletons in the closet (search around for "Orion Dino Beatdown"). From unpaid teams to most assets in the game being entirely plagiarized well before the existence of the genAI plagiarism that they're pivoting to now. This game, while it was fun to play during the peak of wave-shooter popularity (ignorant of its history), has unfortunately always been a grift. Do not support this game or studio.
While I adored my time playing this game a very, very long time ago, and thought it was a fun time, the company that develops it are scammers, plain and simple. Community sentiment on steam appears to be unaware of this, and the developers seem to be starting up development again, so I'm making this negative review now to hopefully sway review scores and alert people to their scams. I mean, even their latest dev posts have AI generated artwork...

I remember playing this well over a decade ago now back in my high school days. It was good fun to play with friends and wasting some dinosaurs. After trying it now in 2026, Its dead to say the least. If you can get some friends together, This would be a fun cheap game to enjoy together.
The game was fine I was looking forward to play this again but I will not support scammers, ♥♥♥♥ this company.
this game is rad like dad. absolute classic game. had stupid amounts of hours on my old steam account. 10/10. stoked to hear dev is returning to keep this game alive with new updates. dont be an idiot. just buy this game already.
Do not buy, I think this could have been a decent enough game, but the Dev appears to be trying to bump the cost and claiming he's going to rework the game again. This game was never finished in the first place, Guardians of Orion is also a scam, shame on this dev.
While nobody really plays this game anymore, its just a mindless fun game. Not a lot of depth, but lots of action.
This game was a fever dream and I am not convinced it was real
You have to be $#!tting me. I picked this up to play twice with a couple friends SO very long ago. It was rough, but it was silly fun. Never thought about it again for the last couple decades. And now it's being updated again? I find this amazing. I excitedly want to see where this one goes.
I saw the game was getting updated and a fresh coat of paint but uninstalled again when I saw it added a store page. It was a nice thought. If you like microtransactions, this is your game.
