Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Sep 3 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game goes under the impression of what an anime version of Armored Core could be. But the word here is COULD. This game starts blank, and doesn't bother to entertain you any further. From basic character creation to the lacking amount of customization, to the ever so empty missions with basic enemies and boring dialogues. Even when I thought the game could give some kind of a challenge, it just cutscene-killed both enemies with cool edgelords that you have to think are cool because the game says so. Nothing to see here, nothing to grab onto, just a boring disappointment.
Mindnumbingly easy nearly fell asleep playing this game

I had a good time playing this even though i'm not really into mech suit to much. The missions are very bite size as it was made for the the switch witch makes playing it on the Steamdeck an excellent choice. The game reminded me of God Eater 3 and Monster Hunter Rise in bite sized missions that don't take too long. There are a lot of upgrade and extra parts to find and upgrade and has a nice loop to get better gear. The game gets a 7.5/10 from me because it might not have been truly crunchy enough in its gameplay but the weapons and gear was a joy. I'm eager to play the sequel no because of my joy playing. Also buy Ice Cream early so you can unlock more unlocks. You have to do the free missions to unlock the best weapons and you have to do them multiple times. Get this game on sale around 10$ and you might have 10 to 20 hours of joy. The game look goods but nothing special and I had no bugs while playing. After completing it feel good enough to go back and play but there are so many game and so little time so the game doesn't seems like there is much more to do but unlock better weapons and gear. no great amount of bosses to keep taking like a game like God Eater which i put in another 20-30 hours just for the gear and extra bosses. God job to who ever made the game as it is a good time for sure.
The story is incredibly difficult to follow, there's so much filler dialogue that really contributes nothing to the story. Played through the entire thing and I was extremely confused by the end. It has a really interesting premise and then just falls off extremely hard when you realize there's really not much to it. The armored core inspiration for the story almost makes it even harder to follow when you get a thousand word essay of meaningless dialogue with every mission, a couple character's voice acting and general writing made my skin crawl to the point where I had to just skip through all their dialogue. Pretty much spent the entire game waiting for it to hit a high note and it just never came, eventually with an ending that had me thinking "What? That's it?" Gameplay is also very bland, very floaty and nothing really feels like it has any weight to it. A lot of weapon classes are just straight up unusable near the end of the game. Most of the missions are a really fast 5 minutes or so and there's a couple that last ages just because of how much ground you have to cover with literally nothing to do or to look at except shoot the occasional wall of turrets. So in other words this game...I'd say hard pass even if you're hungry for more armored core like content, I genuinely regret my purchase on this one.
oh boy what a boring game! Too much talkjng, just shut the hell up already! and the last boss, ♥♥♥♥♥!!!!!!!!!
Rating: ★★★ - Good Time Played: 18.6 hours Gameplay: • Fast-paced mecha combat with a strong focus on mobility and customization. A similar style of gameplay to 'Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon'. • Arsenal (mech) controls are responsive, allowing for high-speed aerial and ground combat. • A deep customization system lets you swap out and upgrade weapons, armor, and even body modifications for your pilot. • Missions are varied but can feel repetitive after a while. Most involve defeating enemy mechs, escorting allies, or defending objectives. • Game is very slow to start and takes a while to pick up, but once it does, it becomes more engaging; doesn’t really kick in until D\C-rank missions. • The Factory lets you craft weapons and armour, which eventually makes the shop redundant. Story\Dialogue: • A post-apocalyptic setting where AI-controlled machines have gone rogue, and mercenary pilots (you included) fight to control the chaos. • Story doesn’t really kick in until B-rank missions, making the early hours feel directionless. • Dialogue is slow and often just an interruption. Feel free to skim through the dialogue before and during missions or ignore them entirely. • Characters have some personality in their voice acting sadly diminished by the redundant writing. Graphics\Music: • Distinctive cel-shaded art style makes the environment and mechs visually appealing but looks terrible on the character models. • Environments can feel empty at times. • Soundtrack is intense and fitting, featuring a mix of rock, electronic and orchestral tracks. Before you Buy: • This game feels like it had a very small budget. If you're looking for a more polished and tougher experience, get 'Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon' instead. 'Daemon X Machina' makes for an okay alternative. • Default HUD is overbearing. Customize it heavily to make things clearer (Include HUD settings). • You can only pick up one item per dead enemy arsenal, so choose wisely. • Experiment with different weapon loadouts early on to find a playstyle that suits you. • Collect fallen enemy parts mid-battle or post battle before leaving the mission. • Boost management is key. Don’t just hold down the button, or you’ll drain your stamina too quickly and drop to the ground leaving you open. • When doing body modifications, focus on arsenal upgrades. Outer upgrades will mean little as you'll only use your outer for 2 missions. • Completing side missions and exploring the battlefield can yield valuable hidden loot. • Use the Factory to craft weapons and ammo instead of relying on the shop. • Get familiar with the Femto abilities (Boosts damage, armour or stamina) and weapon switching early on. • Game feels too easy for majority of the game. If looking for difficulty try use a weaker mech for a challenge.
DAEMON X MEDIOCRE
You can really see the hands of several ex-Armored Core developers at work here, namely in their telltale mistakes:

Armaments range wildly from flamethrowers to acid grenades to shoulder-mounted laser cannons but a pair of humble, semi-automatic rifles will get you through almost anything.
Missions are mostly populated with hordes of underwhelming tanks, helicopters, and UAVs that can be swatted aside with ease. An especially odd choice given enemies drop ammo and the player can repair themselves, opening a door to greater challenge AC generally kept shut.
There's an obligatory wall of stats, though you'll find only a handful truly matter.
Arsenals are swift enough to fly indefinitely by default, though maintaining a consistent altitude is a chore and the Z-axis is rarely utilized.
Multiplayer is well supported competitively, cooperatively, and even in terms of equipment, but the servers are a ghost town.
In essence, its an easier and less spastic Armored Core 4. They even brought in Shoji Kawamori to work his magic. When not following in the steps of its spiritual forebear to its own detriment, DAEMON X MACHINA finds time to make mistakes all of its own. I've bemoaned Armored Core's lack of a human touch when it comes to narrative but after spending over ten hours with the walking, talking, anime clichés that populate this game's world I can't help but feel my wish was granted by a Monkey's Paw. The vaguely incestuous older brother-younger sister duo, the gruff CO that doubles as a father figure, the guy who's sole character trait is being "normal", they're all here in form-fitting onesies and none of them feel the least bit genuine or interesting. This is especially unfortunate as the cast is featured prominently in stiffly animated cutscenes, briefings, and radio chatter. Almost like the game wants to rub your face in it. DAEMON X MACHINA's other major overcorrection and second ironic curse is its aforementioned ease. DXM features two damage types, part destruction, status effects, over ten weapon types, an obligatory skill tree, and the ability to temporarily boost certain stats or summon a shadow clone but undercuts all of these tactical possibilities by being so painfully forgiving. Armored Core may have been too obtuse but DXM is so frictionless I gave up in the third act not out of frustration but boredom- I just wasn't having fun thoughtlessly holding down both triggers over and over and over again. While too competent to truly be bad, DAEMON X MACHINA is too mindless in its moment-to-moment gameplay for me to recommend.
