Mid RPG, but one of the best open world action games ever made. Don't go into this one looking for a rich RPG. Player choice takes a back seat to the story the devs wanted to tell in a lot of ways. Luckily, the story the devs wanted to tell is really good, and Keanu Reeves' character is incredible both in writing and performance. I've heard people say that his being in the game breaks immersion, but I haven't watched a Reeves film since the Matrix, so I was able to see him as Johnny Silverhand, and he killed it. I didn't touch the game for years because I was turned off by the theme. I simply don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about the cyberpunk aesthetic. That was a mistake. The most succinct review I can give is this; There are very few games that have given me the feeling that I got approaching the ending of Cyberpunk 2077... That feeling being genuine sadness that I'll never be able to experience it for the first time again. Don't sleep on this game.
Played this morning with no issues, Logged in later today to my 51 hour save file completely gone with no file location of any save anywhere on my PC. Fun gameplay, sucks to lose everything with no explanation and every method tried to restore it.
w game

Atmosphere of the game is breath taking.
Liked: Story Disliked: Shooting system on controller could be better (A little hard to aim with controller, compared to other fps games)

Cyberpunk is a strong, must-play project. However, it lacks depth in a whole variety of game elements and mechanics. You can simply feel it throughout the game that the developers should have had more time to finish it. You can see many beginnings of mechanics that should have been continued but were sliced due to the release deadline. In Phantom Liberty and other patches, the game was polished, but not entirely. It is sad that it will never be 100% completed; only hopes remain for Cyberpunk 2 to fulfill all the promises. The game takes The Witcher 3 experience as a basis—there are a lot of similarities and the same concepts. It even shares both its weak and strong sides. The main story and side quests are the biggest strengths of the game. On the other hand, the gameplay and difficulty turn into "God mode" after just 10–15 hours of leveling. Only the final boss took me 2–3 tries to finish and 15 minutes of kiting around. I believe for netrunners, even Smasher will fall in 5 minutes with no challenge at all. The devs were very cautious with this project and took a path of no risk. The game does not provide a challenge or try to be hard on the player; it is soft and helpful, with a dramatically forced ending. The formula is very simple, and of course, it works. I wanted bigger difficulty both in gameplay and story choices. It feels too sterile now, almost like a film—you could cut off the dialogue options entirely and nothing would change. I really wish the devs had had more time to finish all their plans and mechanics for this game.
peak game lots of lag though
Fun, i get to speed blitz around an awsome city whilst slicing randome people into sushi.
