The gameplay was okay, but repetitive. I like the customization with the gems, though. The story is really simple, which isn't bad. But for being a parody of MMORPG games, it was a parody of itself. The writing is similar to adding fluff to your essay to fill the word count. I really wished the dialogue had more brevity. I was rolling my eyes when the dialogue between the protagonists and the final boss before the battle. just. does. not. stop. Come on, just let me fight the boss and be done with it.

很难想象这是贝尔最喜欢的游戏和粉丝推荐的系列游戏性第二强的作品，感觉和纯RPG那些也半斤八两，好在通关（和全成就都）没啥难度，不至于被呛到。

넵튠게임은 어쩔수가없구나... 아니 처음이킬때로딩웰케길어?? ㅋㅋ; 한두번도아니고 킬때마다 기다려줘야하네 그 정도로 가치잇는게임도아닌데.. 이거보다사양쌘게임들도잘돌아가는데..; 스킵안돼네 영상같은거나올때.. 이게뭐여;; 한글화도아니라. 왠만하면넘기는데 예쩐에는 일본어음성듣고 햇는데 어느정도알아먹어서 듣는거만.. 요즘은피곤해서 걍스킵함.. 한글이엿으면 그냥, 글만보고넘겻을텐데.. 게임성도, 좀애매하고 여태나온 넵튠게임중에서는 그나마 괜찮은거같은데.

Of the action Neptunia games Cyberdimension 4 Goddesses is one of the more ambitious ones. [The Sweet] + Action combat in which the formation of your adventuring party matters as well. There's a strategic layer side by side with the hacking and slashing. +Environments are unique to this game with none of the atypical recycling in other Neptunia games. +Once you get used to the lock on mechanic the ranged classes are lit! +The usual options you expect from an rpg including gem buffs,armor as well as weapon enhancement,side quests,epic boss battles,and eventually more unlockable outfits. + Good introduction to the characters so even if you're new to the series you will not be lost. The 4th wall breaking humor during the exposition dumps is Neptacular! (Neptacular. I typed that. Saints have mercy on my soul!) +Button lay out is intuitive and easy to use. (If you are a controller user like me.) +Good art assets in both the town hub area and during certain key events. +Game "plus"! + Soundtrack was unexpectedly "motivational'! (Vergil voice) +Bouquet is totes adorable and Vert finally gets her own little sister! (Kinda!) [The Sour] -I wouldn't say the AI is completely busted but when you and the enemy are separated by high ground and low ground your comrades will occasionally empty their bullets and spells into the random scenery whilst special needs participants on both sides begin running amok as if playing a game of tag! It only takes a few seconds for everyone to suppress their collective tism then go back to normal mode yet it is annoying this happens at all. -You have to take time to level up characters independently. Perhaps later on there are learning gems that distribute equal exp. to characters not being used but that's an educated guess on my part. Personally I somewhat enjoy the grind because the combat gets more fun once you are better equipped and have better skills. However,other gamers may conclude it is an excessive waste of their time. (It really depends how new-school or old-school you are as an rpg enjoyer.) -The voice acting is mostly alright but there is less of it and it is obvious certain characters were covered by new VAs. -It is an unusual trend that the turn based Neptunia games get the better stories with higher stakes and more character development whereas the action spin offs are more like throw away intermediate fluff episodes where everyone is vibing yet nothing serious is happening. (In this case beta testing a new mmorpg!) Sisters Versus Sisters was the only more action based Neptunia game I played where actual effort went into building a heartfelt canonical coming of age narrative for the younger CPUs. Hopefully we get more of that in the future. (Ninja Wars was likewise a guilty pleasure cross over with Senran Kagura albeit an imperfect one.) -Camera control is a bit wonky though you adapt to it over time. -Certain gamers have reported issues with corrupt save files. Fortunately you can create multiple save files. -There is co-op but getting it to work effectively may require its' own distinct brand of wizardry! [Is it worth it?] When you can pick it up around $8.00 during a steam sale? Definitely! At the normal $29.99 asking price I'd say there are other games in the series that are a better (And cheaper) but I still appreciate Neptunia's comedic satire of class based mmorpgs of old! If you want to chillax with an inoffensively average tier party based button mashing rpg with lovable characters it just might be worth all the bones! (But that is up for you to decide.)
